New Body Meme

A change has been made. How you cope is up to you.

1. Robot - This is a classic. Your entire body has been replaced with electronic parts. There is nothing human left. Or is there? That's up to you.

2. Android - You may be mechanical on the inside, but on the outside you look practically human. In fact, you might not even know you're not human. That's sure going to be a surprise when you find out.

3. Integrated - It might be a space ship, a super computer, a network computer system but you've been wired in. Part of the machine. Do you run the whole shebang or are you part of a huge mechanical whole. Does anyone else know there's a human presence trapped inside this machine? Perhaps you ought to find a way to contact someone on the outside.

4. Freaky Alternate - This is where it gets really weird. There really isn't much of you left. The brain is intact, maybe the whole head, but someone's keeping you alive. And under glass. Can someone scratch your nose? You're a bit lacking in the arm department.

5. Nanites - They're small and smart and inside of you. Possibly working to repair you...possibly working against you to make you into something new. Should you get rid of them? Keep them? Reprogram them?

6. Hologram - Your mind is now ones and zeroes in a computer. But you get this nifty projection that can walk around and interact. Also walk through things. It's not as much fun when people walk through you though. That's just rude.

7. New face - This may have been your idea. Hopefully it was your idea. Because you're waking up with a brand new face. That plastic surgeon sure knows his stuff, even you don't recognize you. It's either going to be a shock or a chance at a new life.

8. Microchipped - Wait, so there's a microchip implanted where?? And it does what? Who controls it? Better find them and figure out what this is all about.

9. Appliance - Ok, who's idea was this? You're not even human shaped anymore, you're a machine. A blender, a PC computer, a washing machine....maybe even a car. Except it's still you in there somehow.

10. Everything Else - There must be something I missed. Put it in!

	"I can't sense anything..." Which maybe that's what was odd. They were here to meet a new mutant. And nobody was here. Two plastic darts fly out of the dark towards them, one embedded in Charles' neck, the other in Erik's shoulder. Charles' eyes go wide, grabbing at the dart before falling down, unconscious. 	"I do but I'm not sure where..." His voice trails off as the plastic dart hits. Though he does note the dart that hits Charles' neck. He goes to say something but is soon slipping into unconsciousness himself. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Soon they're waking up on the side of the road. Charles isn't sure but he thinks he saw a dark figure bending over both of them before it takes off running. His head is aching, especially near the back of his neck. He groans and reaches out with one hand, finding Erik's arm. "...Erik...Erik, wake up..." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It takes a bit longer for Erik to wake up. If only because of the experiments that Shaw used to do on him. Though Charles' voice slipping through the haze has him giving a slight groan. "Charles?" ...Where were they? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charles sits up carefully, a hand to the back of his neck. "Ow..." His hand comes away sticky with blood from a puncture wound. "Oh dear. Erik, come on, sit up. Are you ok?" 	"I am up." Just not sitting up. It takes a few minutes and he finally sits up giving a low groan. His head was pounding and he didn't like how that felt. "Are you alright, Charles." Then as an after thought. "I'm fine. Just a severe headache." Though unlike Charles he hasn't checked the back of his neck. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"You're..." He scowls slightly at that. "Where are you bleeding at?" Now that Charles mentions it though he feels a slight trickle down the back of his neck. Scowling a bit he reaches behind himself running his hand over his neck. When he brings it back in front of himself it has blood on it. "Well then..." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charles is starting to worry, getting up to look around the back of Erik's neck. There's a neat puncture wound that's starting to heal over. "...it doesn't look bad. Maybe from the darts?" Except that's not where Erik was hit. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charles frowns, pulling up Erik's sleeve to see where the dart hit him. There isn't any visible puncture, the needle was too small. "If that's the case then...why are we bleeding from the exact same place?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charles has both index fingers on his temples, searching outward. "I'm not sensing anyone but us." Maybe whoever trapped them had telepathy masking technology. "Can you sense the car?" 	"OW!" Charles reacts, pulling away from the instant pain in the back of his neck. "...maybe lets not pull them out just yet." Who knows what it could be attached to. He didn't like the implications. 	Though they did take precautions against Charles, this particular anti-mutant participant hasn't gotten rid of all the metal objects on their person. There's a yelp as they're pulled back towards the two mutants. "Careful, he or she could still have that dart gun," Charles cautions Erik as the struggling person is coming towards them. There's a halo of sorts around their head, once that's off, Charles can finally sense their mind. They're terrified, angry....and not fond of mutants.

"Well...hello there," he says amicably as the person is dragged to them. He has two fingers to his temple, scanning their mind, all the while the person is freaking out about being this close to mutants.

"We, apparently, were tagged. So they could keep an eye on us."
