McKinley High - OOC

Can Artie PLEASE find out about this business between Quinn and Owen? I sense a lot of drama about to happen.

Just wanted to put a quick note up about activity. Here's the pertinent section from the rules:

For the sake of smooth gameplay, while we understand that a RPG may not be anyone’s first priority, you will only get as much out of the game as you put in. ... We also encourage players to plot and/or discuss interactions outside of the game via IM and email.

I bolded that part just as a friendly reminder that sometimes people aren't able to put in as much threading/comments/logging/whathaveyou as others. Some of us are in school or work or do both (godspeed to you if you fall in the 3rd category! I feel that) and due to this and/or other personal circumstances may not be able to do as much as others.

Please try to not let things like this stop you from having plots and storylines with other people. What we'd really suggest, though, is for you and the other player to talk outside of the game in OOC, PMs (though not as recommended since you don't get email notifications), emails, IMs, etc. to establish fully what happened between your characters so you can still refer to them in the game. We know the game moves in real-time so it can feel sometimes like you need to put in a lot of time to keep your character active and fresh but sometimes it's hard to get things done in time or things just get in the way. I know I can be guilty of this too.

Check the player directory for contact information and make use of it. We all signed up for OOC interaction/harassment via these mediums by signing up to be involved in this game so don't feel shy about emailing or IMing someone to have plot with them! That's what we're all here for.

If you haven't been able to get something as resolved as you may like, be creative and come up with other ways to keep playing your character. They have more to them than just that plot/relationship between them, and if that isn't the case... this is just another opportunity for you to come up with some new ideas for your character! Also, finally, if you feel like you're having problems getting ahold of someone, just contact us and we'll see if we can find some sort of resolution.

I – Tina, the player of Mike – want to introduce Madison Payne to you. You may have noticed her around already :)

Madison´s the keyboardist in Ethan´s band, kind of geek and a tomboy. You can see more about her here.

If anyone wants to interact with her, I´d love it :) (She may, too, depending on who it is :D) She already knows Sam and Santana, but I´d like for her to meet some of the other gleeks, too.

If you have any ideas, I´m open to pretty much everything. If nothing else, she´ll be at Ethan´s party dressed as zombie – complete with visible bones and all that.

For your planning purposes, over the next three weekends (October 29-31, November 5-7, and November 12-14), I am going to be less available than usual due to various real-life commitments. I'll be checking the e-mail account associated with my RP journals (lizziebubblech@gmail.com) a couple times a day, but I probably won't be able to comment, IM, or reply to threads/scenes in a terribly timely fashion.
