[Action||Open || Backdated to Early Morning]
Setsuna couldn't sleep. He kept replaying his fight with Neil, over and over, inside his head, a recording stuck on cruel loop. He kept trying to understand where it had gone wrong, what he had said to induce the reaction he had gotten and wondering if he could possibly backtrack, if in fact Neil would even see him again. He had rarely seen such anger from his friend, his brother, and even he had displayed it had never... ended well, to say the least.
Tieria seemed equally restless, and Setsuna finally rose from the bed, dressed, and headed to the gym. What exactly he planned to do was beyond him, but physical activity had always taken his mind off of things, allowed him to calm down, to think. It was, perhaps, the one thing he took from Ali's training and might be grateful for - this ability to press his body to the limits and force his mind to a rational state. Once he had believed it to be an exercise to help him reach God and understand His purpose, but since his realization that God no longer existed it had turned into a tool he could never quite discard.
His steps led him to the punching bags. He stared at them a moment, his mind drifting back to the hours spent in the circle fighting Ali with knife and fists and feet. Silently he slid into position and began to strike out. Punch. Thrust. Strike. Kick. Again. Again. Again until his muscles burned and sweat dripped on his brow. All in all this probably wasn't healthy, but it was an outlet for the anger that had built up from his conversation with Neil.
Perhaps someone should stop him before he hurts himself - or the punching bag.
[Action || Closed to Tieria || Later Afternoon]
The 'workout' at the gym had done him little good, and Setsuna had not wanted to wander for fear of meeting Neil. Lacus had called and told him that he wasn't feeling well, but that did not mean the other would not somehow make it up and go down to the bar again or something else. He just... wasn't sure that he could handle another argument, and quite frankly was not sure that Neil seeing him would help anything either.
So he was currently sitting in the apartment he shared with Tieria, sitting on the couch and staring more or less at the wall. He didn't feel like reading or checking the feeds on his communicator. He was just... drained, physically and mentally. It felt like having completed a CB mission, except he felt no real sense of accomplishment or even pride in what he had done. And to make matters worse, Tieria was gone to who knew where and on his bad ankle. He couldn't begrudge the other wanting to go out, but he had to wonder if the other had even bothered to get a cane or something. Tieria had become increasingly stubborn that way, an, it seemed, increasingly more withdrawn. Even to Setsuna that was worrying.
But now all he could do was wait, because Tieria would not answer the comm and he didn't want to find Neil or Lacus on it by accident either. So he sat, and tried to keep that conversation out of his head.
