[Kallen has settled into a pretty quiet life - almost normal. She's not quite at peace, with several million questions swirling in her head, but she's not sure who to trust with asking. So she remains silent, thinking of theories of what may have happened instead.

Today she's in the arcade, completely owning the shit out of the A.I. and yelling and in general being really, really competitive.]

No, no, no-- damn it! Lost again. All right, you think you can beat me? Think again stupid computer.

[Later she'll be shopping around - she's wanted a new light dress. She's thinking pink, actually, but in the end may go for a red sweater and some jeans. Girly things are so-- girly, after all. She thinks the robots around are just the usual - nothing strange here. Right?]

...I presume you mean my eye-drops. [ Slowly, he turns and begins to slide the frames back onto his nose. There would be a brief glimpse of the pink, irritated mess around the eyes he has screwed shut from the harsh glare of the arcade's many lights. ]

And just what is that question supposed to mean? Why wouldn't he be "well"? Is it a subtle jab at the time she nearly obliterated him? It could easily be taken as such, but perhaps he should be the bigger man here and, if it was bait, avoid biting down on the hook. ]

[ That's just as well then. Though he wants to tell her not to force having a conversation with him just because they bumped into each other. Half of him wants to just quip back that his business was his own, but... while the prison may be large, but the population is relatively small so the odds of this never happening again are slim. The man might as well be cordial.

He replaces the glasses on his nose and gestures to the side with his free hand. ] I was curious about the various simulators present here.

	I am afraid I cannot afford the luxury of an in-depth explanation, but suffice it to say a previous inmate decided these... crude devices were necessary to spread "holiday cheer". It seems they have been an occasional menace ever since. [ It is amazing how almost calm that delivery was. Almost. ] The barrier will not dissipate until that condition has been met. [ Guilford practically rolls his eyes, but opts instead to let out a quiet breath in exasperation instead. Children and their dramatics. ] I should have expected that level of disgust, but I also expected that, given a choice regarding survival, the Guren pilot would have more sense than that.

[ And he won't even mention that many individuals live perfectly healthy lives with only one kidney because that was not the intended goal of her message.

He extends his hand to her. ] Whatever you may think of me, know that I am a gentleman. State your terms, Ms. Kouzuki—[ A nudge from behind. ]...but state them quickly. [ Guilford's not about to go rushing into this blindly (hah!) because that could just lead to pain. ]

[ That's more the response he was familiar with. There is a brief smirk on his face, before he smooths it away and places that outreached hand on her shoulder. ] Very well.

[ Guilford leans down and in, wary of any resistance. He will not hesitate, nor be afraid to apply a little force, if that is what it takes. As apprehensive as he was the first time, with Euphemia, this has to happen, he knows, and he can suffer this additional embarrassment today if it means they get out of this situation swiftly. ]
