[Dream Event]
[The dream begins with a view of the castle courtyard, a small clearing of grass and flowers surrounded by high walls of stone. A set of steps leads up to a raised area underneath a darkened window with the symbol of the Triforce engraved above. It is clear from this viewpoint that besides the trees, and the flowers, and the grass, there is nothing living in this scene. For this one moment, everything is still, and everything is silent.

Without warning, the view switches to a close-up look at the window. It is impossible to see what is on the other side though the layers of dust and dirt that have built up over the glass, but that does not seem to matter to Zelda, who has suddenly appeared to stand beside it.]

Will you look through the window?

[No explanations yet. She'll just start walking down the steps and across the grass at a ridiculously slow pace. It's a good thing she does, though, because it will give you a chance to warn her about the hole in the middle of the courtyard where the flowers used to be. If you take the time to look around, you'll also notice that the entrance to the courtyard has been mysteriously walled off.]

[She doesn't stop near the hole. In fact, she seems to speed up. She tries to ~~be Ruto and~~ cross with such confidence that you might think she will actually pass right over it. But she doesn't. Instead, all you will hear is a shocked cry before she vanishes into the blackness.

Even if you wanted to try catching her before she fell, you would find that you could not move until the little "cutscene" is over.]
