002: Freedom, maybe. [voice/open action]
[Voice]
For a crime as severe as that, the amount of time for which a person is restrained certainly is short. Not that I'm complaining, of course.

Now then, I'd like to ask - would anyone be able to recommend a good place for food that isn't made by robots?

[seemingly random question is random, but he'd like to gain the trust of the people here through idle conversation for now]

[Action]
[Light will be exploring the dome for the bulk of the day - since he's finally free from his restraints - to become more familiar with the overall surroundings, and to see if he might be able to find any clues as to how this entire dome operates. You might find him especially close to the outermost extremities of the dome, and possibly loitering a bit around the external boundaries of the Defense Force Headquarters]

[If he does spot you staring at him, or possibly taking a good look at him, he might just greet you with a pleasant smile and a Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening.]

[He'll be wondering about from morning up to the evening(9 AM - 6 PM), only taking a break for lunch at the Shelter kitchens. Feel free to approach him~]

[After she left the shelter and began to wander, she noticed you around a bit. So now that she's run across you again, Ammy's going to wander over and look up at you curiously, tail wagging with interest]

[Afternoonish] going to assume she has communicator on her. hope that's okay!

[Upon catching sight of the wolf, Light would tense up just a little, but upon sensing no hostility from her, he'd relax, but not dropping his guard, and observe the wolf in a little more detail. Doing that, he'll easily realize that this isn't any normal wolf --

If the strange markings on the otherwise white wolf wasn't enough to tell him that, there's also the rather obvious communicator resting on her head, it's shiny surface a stark contrast from her white coat of fur.

Before this, he wouldn't have expected the warden to have captured even animals to be here as inmates, but now he'll know better than to expect that. Considering his options, he finally decides to say:]

You can... speak through the communicator, can't you?

[Barks an affirmative] Not a lot of people seem to realise that. [Curious!]

[he WAS expecting it, but it doesn't make it any less surprising --- not that he shows the surprise outwardly, of course.] A lot of people aren't very observant here, then. [he laughs, goodheartedly] The dull-looking communicator does stand out against your beautiful fur easily, after all.

[Huh, she likes this guy~ Barks happily and wags her tail] They only seem to notice the fact I can talk. It's strange how they don't realise that all animals have their own language.

[The mention of her fur makes her chuckle] I don't always wear it~ But it is hard to miss against the white~

[Excellenttttt. *does a Mr. Burns*] A common misconception. People generally don't realize that humans are animals themselves - if we have our own language, certainly every different animal would have their own language as well, except maybe different species would have a slightly different language, just like how we have different languages even as humans.

Definitely. [he doesn't exactly make any move to pet her or anything, though, as if to display a certain level of respect - it's quite clear this isn't just any other wolf, and, recalling his conversation with Yuuki, this wolf just might be an embodiment of a god.]

Very true~ [Loves listening to animals] Many animals seem to be able to understand one another though. Each speaks a little differently, but ultimately all understand each other.

[Wouldn't be opposed to patting! But she can sort of sense that he thinks she's no ordinary wolf]

It was just a simple comment, but I suppose I could answer - For something as severe as mass murder, you'd think a person would have been restrained for a much longer time than two days, wouldn't you?

It was mentioned earlier today, too. I guess that I was just a little surprised. When I woke up there was a basket next to me, so I didn't expect that someone else might wake up under different circumstances.

[it has? must have missed it, then. he'll have to take another look over the past entries later] If I'm not wrong, everyone gets a basket upon arrival. Whether or not they would be chained up seems to depend on the nature of the crimes they had committed, however.

May I know who I am speaking to?

I find cooking my own meals suitable -- though if the robots are given clear enough instructions, they are able to produce a meal to one's tastes.

I don't know of other inmates cooking for others though, I'm afraid.

Hm. I guess I might have been expecting too much, to think that there would be inmate-established restaurants, seeing as there is an inmate-established security force.

I would think that a place as dangerous as a multidimensional prison, where commodities are readily and easily available, certain issues take priority -- such as safety of those undeserving to be here.

Though perhaps once you have acclimatized to this place better, you might get others to cook for you~

Are you perchance, new here?

True, but as it stands, 'those undeserving to be here' would refer to a good majority of the inmates.

Not bold, really, considering how most of these crimes wouldn't normally have led to life imprisonment at all.

A interesting name. Light Yagami.

It's a common observation here -- but! It would seem that Acumen has a pure black and white vision of things, if not grossly generalized: if it's bad, then it's a crime and thus you're a criminal. And all criminals therefore merit life imprisonment.

[It's perfectly normal to him.] A pleasure, Mr Yagami.

For how many days have you been here?
