Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

• Contact a mod if you have any problems.

Comments: sometimes i worry that despite him only appearing in three (3) scenes, i have missed something totally critical about him, but i tend to write that off as just me being silly. my main worry, though, is that i'm not balancing his mentat/man (logic/emotion) thing well enough? and also that i just. do not play a very convincing mentat to begin with sob??? other worries are just like. does he seem too open? because on the one hand i kind of think of him as very private when it comes to his personal life and whatnot, but on the other he is very used to being known and rather infamous? like, there's a certain familiarity to it; he knows how to work with it? and i'm hoping that i'm getting that across to some degree but idk. but yeah, my big problem can be summed up thusly: "HOW MENTAT????//?;FGSSJ"

as for plotting, though, if you ever have any ideas for cr or anything, let me know any time! plurk, the private hmd, wherever. ♥

oh, but one more issue i want to address? is that... at some point i might have to drop? not because i've lost the ability to play him (or anyone else i might app), but because my life isn't quite cut out for rping, i suspect? but i'm enjoying myself so much here that it'll break my heart to drop at all, at any point!! so. i might actually take a semi-hiatus kind of thing this month to try and get things under contrl? though i'm not really sure yet what i'm going to end up doing. nonetheless, thank you all for being such a wonderful bunch omg, i just adore it here adsdggsfdfs it's such a great environment to finally come back to rping in! ♥

oh my god Piter. I am pretty much as excited for him now as when you apped him in and although it's been way too long since I saw Dune I have to say that he's just... magnificent. You have no worries about pulling of the crazy genius mentat — half the time, I'm worried I'm missing something in his tags because they're so cleverly written.

I also don't think he comes across as too open. While he does seem somewhat friendly and open for conversation I've always felt there is a certain line with him that you do not cross, because it gets to be too personal — he's still polite? But it's clear that his inner Madagascar shut its ports and that is something that's a lot of fun to play against, at least for me!

As for dropping/hiatuses etc... don't worry so much about it! Real life always comes before roleplaying and you should do what you feel you have to do! We will still be here, whether you need a break or some time away and backtags will always be an option. Chill, dude. <3
