comments: i returned to work this month and knew i wasn't going to have much free time to rp while i was diving back into the fray. because of this, i avoided tagging into anything new for the most part and instead focused on getting my backtags done. my activity should be improving now that i'm getting back into the swing of things and am able to manage my time better. ♥

I love your Sookie so very, very much. I can hear her voice when I read her tags and you've got all of her hypocrisy and contradiction so perfectly. I need to let Rogue and Buffy chat with her more instead of letting Loudmouth Dickhead monopolize her time.

Angel! I love your Angel always always always. I really enjoyed the fighting we had Buffy and Angel do this month. We do need to plot and thread out if necessary some things to figure out exactly what's going on with them right now. I'm totally good with backtagging things like that drunk thread (partially my fault it's so backtaggy 'cause I forgot to tag it until recently) but i'd like to decide if we think they're okay or on eggshells or whatever so we can tag new things too if that makes sense.

Quinn is lovely from what I've stalked. I don't know the fandom but she seems really sweet and enjoyable to thread with. I really like her stuff with Cas thus far.

kdjflzkjdf this comment means a lot to me, though. i'm my own worst critic and judge my characterizations pretty harshly, but i judge anything i do with that sort of critical eye. it's great to hear that you think i'm doing well with them, especially since you're one of my go-to people for double checking canon details where angel and sookie are concerned. ♥

yes, we really need to thread some sort of fourth wall aftermath, maybe? if you're game, i can put a thread later for them to do just that, since we've both got this nice three day weekend to thread to our hearts' content. i'd feel more comfortable in angel's shoes - as i'm sure you would with buffy - knowing where those two now stand with eachother, since everything's sort of up in the air right now. and you know i don't mind backtags. i ♥ them.

i would not recommend watching glee. the music's good, but the show is a mess of "continuity? what continuity?" and inconsistent everything. i'm a masochist in continuing to watch it, tbh, as i spend half the episode shouting at ryan murphy.

Yes! I think that would be perfect. I'm going to be gone tonight but I should be around tomorrow and Monday to do some tagging. Definitely knowing where they stand is a good thing.

Ah I hate that, esp when you're already attached to a show

	yes, it's the attachment and being invested in certain characters still on the show despite hating most of what the show does. i try to quit, but then i just have to know what's happening in character x's life. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Angel, oh Angel. I love every single Angel and Oz thread we've ever done. Every. Single. One. It's all been fantastic. I've never played off of an active Angel before and yours had been brilliant. There was a time when Quinn was chilling at the prayer center and I was all: I will throw Damon there to bug her and then I failed to do that cause of work. /kicks it

Your characters are amazing and your tags are so much fun to read and respond to. I especially love Sookie. She's got so much spunk. I want CR with all of your characters. Angel and Damon = possible drinking buddies. Damon will continue to troll Sookie and -- maybe he'll attempt to charm his way into Quinn's life? Yes? No? Yes, please?

ahhh, yes. you should totally tag damon with quinn someday. and since she's my lone 100% human character, i'm totally okay with him tormenting her in any way you feel necessary, especially since she's a friend of elena's and on the cheerleading squad with her and caroline. ~~though quinn is not caroline's biggest fan~~

yes yes yes angel needs a drinking buddy and more vampire friends. one of the awesome things about playing him in a panfandom setting is being able to interact with other "good" vampires who aren't just evil, mindless demons. that's something he doesn't really get in his canon outside of later seasons spike, so i jump at any chance for him to socialize with his own kind. :D

anything and everything you wanna give me cr-wise, i'll take. bring it on!

I love your characters sooooo much. Angel and Xander is just a thing to behold always, but I also love playing off him with other characters and stalking him. I was SO EXCITED to see a Sookie too and you handle her beautifully! Really for both of them they just sounds like them and feel like them and taste like...what am I saying? I'm afraid I'm one of those whacky people who have never seen Glee, but I'm sure she's spot on too. She is fun to play with!

And we do absolutely need more of the playing!

i love playing angel off of your xander. it's great being able to play out that antagonism, especially those moments where they suck it up and play nice for the sake of others, despite acting like petty children whenever presented with the opportunity to terrorize one another. i'd really love to see them forced into a situation where they have to work with one another without angel succumbing to the urge to break his neck, lmao.

lol never watch glee. the canon is a trainwreck. i'm insane for continuing to watch it. i keep saying i've quit, but lo and behold, when next week rolls around, there i am, watching the newest episode and shouting my face off at the tv for the latest inconsistency or retcon the show's done now. sorting out quinn is sometimes challenging, because episodes will contradict one another and you're left with a headache.

i think you're incredible and i think everything you write is incredible too. i couldn't even think of anything to give you crit about if there were fangs at my neck. i don't even like glee very much and you have me so interested in quinn and where she's been and where she's going as a character. i would love some cheerleader times! and mean girl stuff with quinn and elena and caroline. \o/ if it works out that way. (elena would be in the middle of that, i'm suuure.) and some of elena's conversations with angel have been so enlightening for her. you play him so well: his attitude, his morality, it's all on this level i've never seen in any angel ever. you bring him to life more than i can even recall the show ever doing for me. AND SOOKIE. for awhile i was never the lover of sookie, but i love her now upon rewatching, and that has a lot to do with you. i adore how you write her -- which is in this really honest way and i can't wait to see where her cr with elena goes now that the cat's out of the bag. elena's pretty much in love with her as much as a ~~salvatore~~heterosexual girl can be in love with another woman. (i think it's because sookie is unknowingly teaching elena how to love and accept herself. ;o; feels.)

basically, a+, continue. i will hoard all your tags because i love them.

YOU. you and your freaking wonderful characters.

i know i've gushed at you before but now i get to do it in depth and it's going to be scary long and idec. but angel is 100% the most perfect angel i've ever read, in the history of ever. not only have you put frickin thought into why his accent disappeared (which, btw when i read that? i was lolling to myself because of COURSE you would think of that!) you're just-- idk, it kind of makes me angry because i want to know all of these layers but you're so damn good at angel that you keep them all tucked underneath his stupid dumb stoic facade and while i want faith to know all of this stuff because i get to see it in narrative tags, i'm also so happy that he almost never spills anything, either. and then you go and get him drunk and he can't help but get all irish on everyone and it's ten times better. AND you and kristi make me feasibly believe in buffy and angel as a ship whereas normally i just romanticize it and figure it would annoy me if it were ever to really happen. gah. okay. it wasn't as long as i expected. moving along...

sookie's amazing. she's a perfect blend of sweetie with a heart of gold and the kind of girl that would give you the shirt off her back and holy crap this girl is going to kill me with a stare oh god where can i hide? and i LOVED that she blasted sophie once she got some strength back. DAMN was that the best ever. yes. so much yes.

and what can i say about quinn? the fact that you're kind of giving her a second life here has been really wonderful to follow. i'm excited to delve into her religion more, and the way she and cas met is one of my favorite cas threads, bar none. and i'm so excited that while she's amazed that she's met an angel, she treats him like anyone else. i love your quinn all around, and it makes me want to bring santana here so badly (if i wasn't crap at playing one muse in two places, i probably would app san in a heartbeat, btw), but i'm also really happy that quinn's CR with cas is going to be really interesting. it's a little selfish, because a lot of times people want to play with their character being in awe of the angel guy 24/7 and it's refreshing for me (and kind of hilarious overall) that he's making legit friends with a high school cheerleader xD

it just made sense to me, especially that joss dropped him in new freakin' york during one of the high points of anti-irish anti-irish sentiment in america - not to mention one of the hot spots for it. i thought, yeah, of course he would learn how to talk without it so people would leave him the fuck alone. being harrassed for being irish wouldn't have made him too happy while trying to cope with suddenly having a soul again. ngl, i've also sat down and figured out which fourteen wars he's seen wrt where canon says he was at the time and which ones would've been most relevant to him. basically, when you give a history major a character with historical roots... this could be a give a mouse a cookie spin off, i feel.

i really loved that thread, too. it was nice for her to actually get hurt and show that yes, while you are a little bad ass in a pretty blonde bottle, vampires are still stronger and faster than you and if you're not careful, your ass can and will get owned. also getting to show how she can be her own lethal weapon when given the chance is fantastic, too. so really, thank you for bringing sophie-anne in for that. ♥

man, it is so nice to get to explore the positive aspects of quinn's religious side, since canon seems to focus on the negative. it's nice and challenging, and an aspect of her character i don't get to explore as often. and i'm glad that i'm giving you the opportunity to flex your cas wings (pun totally intended) in a different way, too.

Fellow Gleek RPer!

Your Quinn is fantastic. It's easy to tell she's been through a lot and actually grown because of it. Her threads with Zee have been so sweet, and I can easily see them becoming like sisters in the long run. Equally, Sookie and her life make me laugh because you play her with just the right amount of sass and I'm-not-putting-up-with-this-bull (except-I-sorta-have-to-DAMNIT).

Also, I can't wait until Zatanna and Angel get to meet while he's sober, as fun as that thread was.

i'm so glad she comes off that way. i try hard to make quinn the well-rounded character she should've been instead of the cardboard cutout crazy bitch the show made her into without remembering that she might have legit trauma and reasons for being so nutso - but as a fellow glee player, you know my frustrations with canon and the writing and "what continuity and fluid characterizations?" well. diaf, ryan murphy. /shakes fist

That would be amazing. I've only ever played with a handful of Gleeks, believe it or not, and with Britt being a lone canon warrior in her game for so long ~~though a Santana just reserved, so we'll see what happens~~ it would be fun to reunite the Unholy Trinity at some point.

Guh, don't even get me started on the inconsistencies. Britt's existence revolves around one-liners, and her intelligence level switches more often than the show's relationships.

I will get to that post as soon as I finish inbox& post maintenance, for sure!

First off, I'd like to apologize for how mean Helix was being to poor Quinn. I liked the first season or so of Glee (I stopped watching at one point, I can't remember why and I forget if I finished the first Season) and I'm glad she bit back like she did. Admittedly Quinn was not one of the characters I liked on the show, but playing against her makes it more interesting and there's potential that you might change my mind about her. I'd like to see them interact again sometime, maybe even in person.

Man, Angel, they'd had a few good, calm threads up until the move. To be honest Helix wasn't trying to piss him off but honestly it's a very common thing, the kid just has that affect on people. I like it! It gives their budding CR an interesting twist. It'll be curious to see what Angel thinks of Sam if he manages to get into the game.

Sookie, gosh, from the little bit I got to thread with her and Sam, I think she's spot on. From the smallest actions like a wince, to their hug and her voice, it's just, I love what I see. It's also one of my favorite threads. I love how the points meshed well and I'm thinking it will be able to carry through if he gets into the game despite the change in canon point.

I've always kind of loved their relationship, for as up and down as it is, the whole unrequited love thing with them just works. In Marina it'll be interesting to get to explore that I think, considering how turbulent her current love life is at that point in canon. With Eric in the game it should prove to be dramatic and pretty awesome. I can't wait to see what happens.

oh man, do not even apologize for that! i love negative cr as much as the positive kind and do not take personal offense to characters being mean to mine, especially since it didn't seem off the ball to me for helix to me mean to her. and i do not blame you wrt glee. the show is a mess and i'm a masochist for continuing to subject myself to it. sometimes, i have trouble playing certain aspects of quinn, because the writing is so inconsistent that episodes will contradict one another and you're left going, "do i go with what episode x said or episode y?" ngl, i wasn't quinn's biggest fan at first, either, but i gradually came to sympathize with her plight over, ironically, the show paying zero attention to the fact that she'd had a baby and her father was abuses and continued to have the other characters berate her while the adults did nothing but put her down when the girl could've used a little support in her life. BUT THAT'S A "GDIT GLEE FU" rant for another day. >.>; -- basically, i'm glad that rp gives me the chance to not only redeem her in people's eyes, but to actually play out and explore all those things the show forgets exist. and i would LOVE to put her up against helix again sometime, especially since she's warmed up more to the idea of non-humans.

lol that wasn't helix so much as angel was being a dick to everyone in that post. which was really fun for me, since i don't often get the chance to have angel snap and show what a complete jackass he can be when given the chance. i do adore that you're not afraid to let helix aggravate characters like that. it's very refreshing in the face of so many players constantly trying to keep the peace between theirs and others. and that cr's going to be interesting, though at least with him having zero interest in sookie (not just because she's my own character, but because he's irish and getting involved with the fae is NOPE.JPG he'll stick to his own, pre-existing nightmare fuel), it won't be the automatic antagonistic cr that he has with bill and eric?

OH I WANTED TO ASK if you would be okay with sookie referencing that fourth wall thread if when sam gets in? like, asking about tommy and if he's okay and all that. and i'm super excited for that as well, with sam being someone she's known much longer than eric and jess there to give her a sense of home that they don't, plus the potential for there to be sam vs eric instead of bill vs eric, depending on how cr and playthroughs decide they want to go as ita, the unrequited love thing just WORKS with sook and sam.

Oh man I'm glad I got to let Angel be a dick then and for you to have all the fun! I'm also glad that you are enjoying the Negative CR so much. I have had some drama in the past over some neg CR being misunderstood as something OOC so I just like to double check just in case. For the most part though I do not like to limit myself with a character, especially if I absolutely do not have to and if the player is LOVING it. I definitely don't want to limit you from something I'm doing well that you really like, and it is such a huge part of Helix that he'll never quite lose despite all the growing he's doing in Marina over time.

I look forward to Sam meeting some Vamps he can actually get along with that aren't a teenage girl!

And yes, I'm totally okay with Sookie talking about the 4th wall stuff, he'll be remembering it all and to him it'll be like he hasn't left. All the memories are going to kind of hit him like a freight train, like how a canon update works normally in game.

I'm really looking forward to Sam being able to really be there for Sookie for this. I'm not looking to ship them, but I'd be pretty happy if something developed too. I'm all for however this whole thing pans out especially if he ends up being her Best Friend in Marina for a time. He enjoys and wants to be her shoulder to cry on and that guy to be strong for her and protect her or be by her side when she needs him, just like a loyal puppy~

oh God it took me forever to find words to actually give to you and I'm still not sure if I got them, but here goes.

Out of all the people that I expected on Spike's intro, you were by far the one I was the most nervous about. I've stalked your Angel on and off over the last year or so and I've always been nervous about getting castmate chemistry right — so playing Spike against him was, to say the least, an intimidating thought especially with the timeline difference.

And... I have to say, that first thread just exceeded all my expectations. You're so easy and comfortable to play against, it almost felt like we'd done it for ages already. Angel just sounds... right, both as Angel and in relation to Spike. I just. I have no words, okay, and I am forever grateful that I'm getting the chance to play with you.

As if that wasn't enough, there's Sookie. I actually had to remind myself a few times that they were played by the same person, because I could not see it in the tags — you have her voice down beautifully and I absolutely love how you portray her head-strong, stubborn attitude. There's a great balance to the way she swears too that just screams Sookie and I really can't wait to see what else is going to happen with those two.

Unfortunately I know nothing of Glee, but I'd kind of like to throw Reid in Quinn's direction some day just to see what happens.
