[Looking over Jack's pictures it's easy to see how different he is from Malcolm Merlyn. For one thing she didn't think Merlyn went around making out with other guys (and if he did she didn't want to know about it).]

Looks like you got a bunch of good pictures.

[It's still difficult to talk to him and not want to punch him in the face, but she was trying. After all, Jack wasn't a bad person.]

[Jack would be appalled to hear that his doppelganger was apparently so straight-laced and boring as to ignore half the population of Earth for romantic possibilities!

He looks round at Felicity with a smile - and a measure of caution, because he can still see that wariness in her eyes.] Yeah, a bit bitter-sweet, some of them, but they're nice to have. [He picks up the small bundle of prints of his childhood, him and Gray playing together on the dunes, him and Gray splashing around in the sea... him and Gray running for their lives, Gray's hand still in his for just a few more precious seconds before he let it go and everything changed forever.] A whole lotta memories.

What about you? Get anything good?

	More things I don't understand. I mean I'm pretty sure they're from my future, but that doesn't help, ya know. [She offers him the pictures that were on the wall; including one of the group at Nanda Parbat with Merlyn standing in the background.] Also, I didn't know you were into guys. [That last part gets her a surprised chuckle.] You clearly never watched any of my series on TV then! Apart from which, I'm dating two guys here! Not that it's just guys. Guys, girls, tentacle monsters, anamorphic blobs... I'm not picky, if there's something that attracts me to them!

[A brief leer, and then he looks with interest at her pictures.] Mm, futures are difficult, especially when you're never quite sure what's set in stone and what's not. [A twitch of a dry grin.] And, here, whether they're just mucking with us or not.

Oh wow, is that him? Your Merlyn guy?

[They could be twins.]

[She raises her brows. Wow, that was totally different from what she expected from him. In Doctor Who he was a bit more sexual then anyone else, but she wasn't expecting that.

She listens to his commentary on the future, which she's been thinking about. Really, it seems to be all set in stone since everyone from her future seems to be sure of it. Then she watches as he comes to the picture with Merlyn. She has to lean in to look at the picture.]

Far from mine, but yeah, that's him. You see why we were a bit ... surprised at first.

((OOC: Actually, Jack's very first appearance on DW began with him a) ogling Rose's bottom and then b) flirting with Algy, a solider, and later he took the job of 'distracting the guard' from Rose because said guard (Algy again) was gay. :-D But if Felicity only watched it once and it was a while ago, she could probably be forgiven for not noticing/remembering!))

Yeah, it's an incredible likeness! I mean, I've met duplicates of people here, but it's different when it's yourself! [He studies the picture, closely, fascinated, and then gives her a slightly bemused look.] I thought you said he was a bad guy? It looks like he's working with you there!

[She winces at that. He does look like he's working with them there and she doesn't know why. It's another picture from her future that she can't actually place.]

It's, complicated. I mean I guess it is since this is after my time. Most likely Oliver, a friend of mine, asked for his help. They used to be close.

I see. I'm sorry, I know how much it can throw you, seeing things from your future. I should probably ask Ray about it instead, huh? [He's still staring at the photo with Merlyn in the background, though, utterly intrigued.] It's nice to know he might not be a total dick - though I have to say he looks incredibly arrogant in that photo!

Huh. [He might even sound a little disappointed. It's hard to look at someone so identical to himself and believe he's so evil.

With an effort, he drags his attention away from the photograph and gives Felicity a quick grin.] Well, I guess I'll just have to try and make up for all the nastiness that's been done by my face in your world by continuing to save as many people as I can in mine!

Not exactly. It's just a couple of these pictures aren't exactly something I'd do ... ever.

[She doesn't do masks. Except maybe on Halloween - OH! And she'd totally put on Oliver's to tease him. Mental image of inappropriate things notwithstanding. She really needs to give up thinking these things; but it's seriously hard.]

	Not all superheros in my world have powers. Some are just really good shots. [Or military trained, or have really strong hearts and the stubbornness to learn.] And I wasn't in the town that did the whole superpower thing. Besides, I arguably wouldn't dress like that.
