[Martha hesitates a moment, because really, who wants to talk about something as horrible as this. But a moment later she wordlessly hands him the photo. The Martha in the photo is thin and frightened. Her face and clothes are spattered with blood and other bodily bits, though where it comes from is unclear. A soldier holds a gun to her head.

In real life, Martha crosses her hands over her chest as she waits for a reaction out of Reid.]

	Agreed... which is maybe why I've barely spoken to them in the nine months I've been here. [ He should've, but they're unreliable and he hasn't been able to figure out how to tackle that. ] What I'm saying is, I think we should treat anything that happens here as an attempt to get in our heads.
