I would have felt bad if that happened.

[Not to mention that Shiro probably would have felt even worse than he already did. His flashbacks and nightmares hadn't hurt anyone back home, yet. They were disruptive at times, sure, but he'd never gotten violent like that, so it was really getting to him, and Keith could see it.]

I know. I just... I feel like I have to explain it. I've known him for a while now. He took a mission and was abducted while on the mission. He doesn't even really remember all of it, but it changed him. Not like... who he is overall, but just... there are things that weren't there before. I'm worried about him.

[Keith glanced over to where Shiro was.]

He really helped me out when I was younger. Got me out of some trouble. I feel like I need to repay that.

It sounds like what he can remember is pretty awful. And ... you're right. It could have changed him. [He doesn't have a history with them, so he can only assume based on what he's heard so far and his own experience.] Some things ... When bad things happen, it can ... it can be hard to overcome them.

I think, one of the best things you can do for him is just ... be there.
