	Like what? [Granted, Keith had a lot of people leave him in his life. So, that was probably the reason he was at this particular group. That said, it wasn't something he liked to talk about often. [Keith frowned a little, looking rather uncomfortable. Sitting on the floor like Pidge suddenly seemed like a good idea because he could tuck in on himself a bit more, but he was going to face this. He'd made the commitment, even if it had felt a little forced, so he was stubbornly going to see it through.

He considered what Shiro said, glancing around for a moment. Okay. So, it looked like there were some paper pads and pencils over there. Maybe that was part of it.]

Okay.

[He got up, grabbed a few of each, and came back, taking a pad and a pencil for himself, and leaving the others if Pidge and Shiro wanted to do something, too. He stared at the page for a moment, chewing his lower lip, and then started writing.]

	[Shiro could tell Keith looked uncomfortable, but that's why he was here. Like Keith had supported him, he would support Keith. He watched as Keith got up and grabbed the pad of paper. [After a couple of false starts and scribbling out of things (and then a torn off sheet that he crumpled up and tossed under his chair for the time being), Keith finally actually settled on drawing. He pulled his legs up on the chair so he could lean on his knees for support, and also partially to hide what he was drawing. He might share when he was finished, but he found it was easier to express things through images than words.]

[Shiro watched out of the corner of his eye as Keith attempted to start several times with what he was doing before finally getting in a rhythm. It took a minute but he realized that Keith was drawing. Somehow that didn't surprise him. Given the fact that Keith had visual maps on his walls, he was far more visual than anything else. But he doesn't ask and he doesn't try to look. It's Keith's own business unless he decides to share]

[He couldn't quite do it. Part of him wanted to, because it represented that feeling of being left behind and lonely. But, at the same time, it was still "home". As much as he hated it, he was attached and couldn't quite get rid of it. It was the main reason he even still had the place to begin with back home.

Idly, he wondered what kind of shape it was in now. Without someone there for so long, who knew what happened to it and his hoverbike. That was another mixed feeling thing he owned, left behind by his dad. Yet, when he was on it, speeding through the desert, it was like nothing else in the world mattered. He couldn't get rid of that, either.

He sighed, staring at the picture again for a bit, before finally just flipping the whole pad face down and resting his head on his knees for a moment.]

[He looked down at the back of the pad for a moment and then sat back again, slowly turning it over as he uncurled his legs to sit normally again. Shiro could see it easily from this angle now.]

I pictured this place during our training those first few days with Voltron. But, I also saw it during the Trials, and it reminded me of my dad being there. I used to think that being on my own wasn't so bad, but... [He sighed.]

I don't know.

He could see from the angle that it was house that Keith had taken them to when he first escaped from the Galra] Being on your own can be hard. Most people didn't like to be truly alone. It had been easier when I at least had the Garrison and all that, but yeah. It got a little lonely, sometimes.

[He shrugged at the question about his dad.]

I don't know. I mean, I guess, in a way, it would be nice to see him again and talk to him. And I've got questions. For him and my mom.

But, I had to make a choice when I saw things during the Trials. So, I chose to put it aside for Voltron.

	Well, you weren't alone at the Garrison. Not really. There were other people around. [Shiro didn't know much about that vision that Keith had had during the Trials, only what he had told him] Doesn't mean that you are completely out of options for figuring out more about your family. [Keith nodded. The idea that he did actually have a blood family he could try to connect to had him really invested in this. He hadn't had something like that in a long time, though his relationship with his dad hadn't exactly been close later on. He regretted that a little now.]

From what Ulaz said, and from what I've seen from others, it looks like each one's unique. That might be how we can identify it and link it back to who it originally belonged to.

[He didn't clearly remember every single one from the Trials, but he did remember Ulaz's, as he had asked to see it specifically, and Thace's had been different, too.]
