[Action]

What was the worst way to go from sitting in your robot lion, flying through a wormhole, ready to fight the being that had attempted to steal your lion, had been the one ultimately responsible for being captured on a mission to Kerberos?

Suddenly being in the water of course.

This was the lovely introduction Shiro had to Marina, finding himself suddenly in the water. It took him a moment to process what had happened before practically launching himself out of the water, finding himself standing on the beach? Where in the name of all things holy was he? ... And how did he end up in that awful looking jumpsuit? No one would every pick such a thing to wear.

It was while he was wading out of the water that he full processed the communicator, the welcome message displayed. As he read it, he had to sit back down. First instinct reacted unconsciously to "prison". Brief flashes from the Galra prison danced across his vision for a moment before he pressed one hand to his forehead, forcing them back.

That list of absurd "crimes" almost instantly became the least important priority. Where was the black lion? Where were the other paladins? Had he really just been separated them right before they were supposed to fight Zarkon?! There was no way that they could assemble Voltron without him! This stupid place had pretty much killed the other paladins, Allura, Coran, all of them!

His hands tightened into fists as he glared angrily at the wall of water on the other side of the dome. Then with his metal arm, he punched the ground as hard as he could.

"Quiznak..."

[It takes a bit before Shiro has collected himself in order to use the communicator, but this was very important. There's a concerned look on his face as he speaks]

So it seems that I have just arrived. I do have a few questions if someone can help me. I'm trying to find someone. Actually several people. Does anyone know if it is possible to figure out where they are?

Alternatively, is there any possible way to find out something that is going on back home? I need to know something that was going on back home.

[Keith had been spending his first few days getting familiar with the dome. He was exploring the different sectors, one each day, and today brought him to the beach. He spotted a figure there, someone in that same jumpsuit he'd been wearing on his first day, which marked them as a new arrival.

And then it sunk in on who it was. He took a sharp breath, his eyes widening in shock. It couldn't be! Could it?

He broke into a jog.]

Shiro?

[Shiro had still be sitting there, trying to process what to do next when he heard a familiar voice call his name. He turned to look, eyes widening at seeing that it was actually Keith. It was perhaps the most welcome sight he could have had in that moment.

He was on his feet in a moment and ran the rest of the way to Keith. Sorry, Keith, you really don't know yet how happy he is to see you so he's going to hug you.

And he actually woke up in the water so... there's that too]

Though, it didn't really deter Keith all that much from hugging him back.

He nodded into Shiro's shoulder, clinging to him a little.]

Yeah... have been for a few days.

[He did pull back a bit, his hands holding on to Shiro's upper arms.]

Are you okay? Everyone was worried when you disappeared after the battle.

[Keith's expression was definitely worried, but he said, "after"...]

[Sorry, he kind of forgot the part that he woke up in the water for a moment. But he had been worrying something would happen to the other paladins then he sees one of them.

But then the comments confused him and his brow furrowed as he studied Keith, who had stepped back enough that they could see each other]

A few days? And what do you mean "after the battle"... and "disappeared"?

[Keith blinked, his eyes widening a little.]

Yeah... You know. With the teledav? And we ported Zarkon's ship to a remote sector after Thace and I destroyed the main computer system.

But... when it was over, we had to tow Black back to the Castle, and... [He looked down.] You were missing. We don't know what happened. [His voice trailed off a little before he finally looked back up at Shiro again.] Don't you remember that?

	Yes, I know that part. We were using the teledav. It hadn't finished you. [So the last part goes completely over his head] We hadn't started fighting the ship yet. So... wait... you know the we fought Zarkon? And I was gone after that fight? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[Keith nodded, looking worried.]

We did. You were with us for pretty much the whole fight until we destroyed his armor and left the ship mostly disabled. Voltron was separated back into the Lions when Zarkon's armor blew up. When we tried to leave, the Black Lion was just drifting, but we didn't know you were missing at that point. We grabbed her and pulled her back to the Castle so we could get out of there.

[He looked troubled, not just because Shiro didn't remember the fight, didn't remember bonding further with Black, didn't remember getting his bayard back, but because, thinking about what had happened reminded him that they potentially left Shiro behind without realizing it. They should have been more aware, paying more attention, something to know that they were missing one of their family.]

[Sorry, Shiro's just going to stare at him for a few minutes. So... they beat Zarkon... and he vanished after that? How was this even possible when they hadn't even gotten out of the wormhole?

This felt like one of Slav's hypothetical universes come to life and he didn't like it. He didn't understand and Keith looked concerned. Neither were things that liked]

This... is weird.

[How was that even possible? Keith felt the panic setting in a little, so he forced himself to focus better by taking a deep breath. His fists still clenched at his sides, though.]

Okay... maybe there's something weird about the way this place works. I can ask around and find out. It's not worth really worrying about right now.

[He looked Shiro over for a moment.]

Come on. Let's get you something dry to wear.

[He started walking towards the shops.]

[Shiro was good enough at reading Keith that even when his mind was racing and he was unease, he saw that stress in his eyes and how his hands clenched. Without even really thinking about it, he put his hand on Keith's shoulder. He didn't like seeing the younger paladins upset.

He nodded]

We'll get some answers to this. But yes, something dry and not... orange would be nice.

	They've got a lot of stuff. It shouldn't be hard to find something. [Keith managed to offer Shiro something of a smile in return. He knew Shiro worried for him, like he did for all of them, really, and he wanted to let him know that he could deal with this. He'd be okay. It was just another jump through a wormhole, so to speak. That's good.

[Shiro moved his hand when Keith smiled over at him, following him towards the shops. Shiro didn't doubt that Keith had the ability to handle it. He was still young though; Shiro had more experience with weird stressful situations and this bothered him. It was not his choice to - even accidentally - make this harder for Keith.

But rather than dwell on it and make it worse, he decided to change the subject]

This is... quite a place. Not what I would have expected for a prison.

	Seems like it. [Shiro followed him over to the clothes. He had already started looking at the options (of course in black) when Keith said that last part] There is no money? How nice of them considering they brought us here.

[Shiro grabs a few items, including a fitted shirt like he normally wore. It was easier with his prosthetic arm to have something more fitted.

After he had what he needed, he went to change out of the horrid orange jumpsuit. It took him a few minutes, but he came back out wearing an almost identical copy to what he normally wore back home]

Much better than that jumpsuit.

Heh, yeah. Really.

[Keith leaned against the wall outside the changing rooms, arms crossed as he waited. He glanced over as Shiro came out, and smiled a bit.]

Yeah. That thing was itchy anyway.

[He straightened off the wall, slipping his hands into his pockets.]

So, other than dry, normal clothes, and asking a ton of questions, is there anything you want to do?

[Keith studied him closely as they walked. He felt like there was something up about that, but he wasn't exactly sure what. He knew Shiro had nightmares and didn't sleep well to begin with since the Kerberos mission, and also that he had some other issues that made him freeze up or act more distant than usual, but he usually didn't pry too hard. He just usually tried to hopefully let Shiro know that he was there for him if he needed the support.]
