[ Reid is, thankfully, unaffected by the ongoings of the day. Wouldn't it have been hilarious if he had to get through the day reciting Chaucer whenever he wanted to order a cup of coffee? Absolutely. Would any of you ever have gotten a Reid tag ever again? Absolutely not.

Anyway. He's going about his day as usual, though perhaps a little more scatterbrained than usual. He's still somewhat holding out hope that Nathan is just around somewhere, not truly gone. He'd just gotten used to having him in the apartment again and getting a second chance to do the right thing has proven to be worth all the hassle of underwater prison. If Nathan isn't here, then... well. Then he doesn't really have any reason left to stay.

He'll pass through the library, make a few stops at the coffee shop throughout the day and then as the evening winds down, find his way back to the education centre to practice the piano for an hour. With Euphie gone, he doesn't really have a reason to pick up classes again either. Never would've if she hadn't convinced him in the first place.

Shit, they really are dropping like flies. ]

[While Kija has visited a number of different classes and areas of the education center to try an en chance his knowledge of such a modern world, he hasn't had the opportunity yet to look at any of the instruments.

When he hears one such instrument, he peers within curiously. And stares.

To play such a large and difficult looking instrument... it must truly be a challenge. [He isn't affected, fortunately, by the antics of the day.]

It led her to Mr. Reid. Nathan's friend. And a teacher of that class she had attended a few times.]

[Between Kanji's announcement, looking for Nathan and calling him herself, and failed confirmation from the wardens there's no real doubt left for her that Nathan's gone.

And it hurts.

It hurts because that's it. No more chances for any of them to work on making things better for him. He deserved better than what his mind did to him. It hurts because even if she knows where his body is, she doesn't know about his mind. Is it trapped in some facility back home alone? Is that what he's living an feeling every day now? Is it just dark and blank like death? Like she imagines death. It hurts because she loves him and it hurts to lose the ones you love no matter how much practice you have.

Somewhere along the way looking for Nathan turned into looking for Reid even if she was only half aware of it. She follows the sad sound of piano notes to him. She's not going to try to speak and for once today it's a relief, not an obstacle. Instead, she quietly takes a seat next to him on the bench.]

It's also rude to completely ignore someone you know when they wander into your general vicinity, so Gaeta gives Reid a wave. He's been meaning to check in with Reid about escape attempts, but with the pleasure prison and Martha getting bitey, some things have fallen through the cracks.]

[ Wade is spending the day at MAHR. Not because he's picking out curtains, but rather because he's going to town on every single black or red leather couch, chair or foot stool he can find, stripping them clean with a box cutter while humming happily to himself. He still doesn't have his suit but what does that matter when he can dress like a bank robber? [ There's something vaguely familiar about what's happening today, even if Spike can't quite put his finger on what it is. It's almost as if he'll be struck with a similar musical curse back home in the not to distant future, except it hasn't happened yet and he only remembers it from other, weird happenings here.

Anyway. He goes about his day the best he can, spending most of the afternoon well into evening at the Blood Shack, working a long shift and idly wondering how long he'll be able to stand having bots around before he gives in and takes over the place himself. Not the kind of responsibility he's looking for but anything has to be better than this. At least he can waste some time chatting with customers. ]

[He's been meaning to look Spike up but he hasn't got around to it (or maybe he's actually secretly nervous and won't admit it to himself) but tonight at the end of his evening patrol he finds himself glancing towards the gate into Sector 5 where Spike will no doubt be working his shift at the Blood Shack.

What the hell. He likes Spike, and Spike deserves more from him than just going to him for help or just bumping into him randomly.

He heads into the Blood Shack and across to where Spike is behind the bar.

[ Euphie is gone and Nathan is gone and so is Yuuri and Sam and Sougo and Lacus and hell, practically everyone he grew to love in his first few months here. Is there anyone left? Aidan isn't so sure and most days he shrugs it off but today it shakes him deeply.

He spends most of the day in the memorial garden, tending to a freshly planted purple camellia. It's still small and spindly but with the proper care it'll grow into something strong, he's sure of it. Something has to be here to remember them by. There has to be some mark. They can't just be gone. ]

[He really had no need to speak most of the day. Of course, there was a rather embarrassing moment in the stables where he sang his feelings to a horse, but he was certain no one was around for that. In fact, the moment that happened, he kept his mouth shut tight.

[It's business as usual for Pavel Chekov: coffee, patrolling, some poking around the library, and a good, long run. Everyone who crosses his path will get a friendly greeting just as they would any other day. Nothing strange here!

[Singing is usually fine. Gaeta even likes doing it now and then, especially when slightly drunk. Singing is not fine, however, when every attempt at talking turns into an a cappella rendition of a Colonial song.

After attempting to place a coffee order in the form of a Canceron pop number (spoiler: it didn't work out), Gaeta retreats to Trois Park. It seems like a relatively safe place to be. Public enough to make him feel like he's not being a pathetic hermit, quiet enough to discourage singing. He hauls a few books with him, hoping that he'll forget that everything that's done here is pointless long enough to crack one open.]
