I'm sure it will when you're hanging from the end as its tail after it flies off with you.

[Not that Ai is that much taller than her mother. Anything that flies has the potential to take off with someone, especially with the breeze this strong.

Suddenly Ai finds herself holding on to one part of the kite alone and she looks down at her hand before looking over at Yuuki. She tightens her grip on it.]

Did you pick it so you could get me to join you?

[Because that wasn't necessary.]

[Haruka isn't really interested in flying kites. He has his own agenda, and he's currently doing that, by being the embarrassing father watching a short distance away as mother and daughter tackle flying a kite much too large.

It's as if the world is glitter and rainbows, he's so elated to be watching what Yuuki's never been allowed to do in memory. It could only be better, if Juri's there.

Ah, but... it's kind of lonely watching. Except they're adorable trying to keep themselves on the ground. Though he doesn't want them to fly off. That's no good, either.

What's a father to do?]

Be careful. Let me help you...

[He's to inject his presence, because it is lonely and he wants attention from them, too.]

[After all both of her grandfathers were the sort to do such things, not that Ai really minds it.

A shadow falls over them and she looks back to see one of the people of her family who would do something that required getting close to the person they love. There's a hint of a smile as she looks away.]

Ah, now I see the real reason. You wanted ojiisan to come fly with us too. [Definitely teasing her mother.]

It's because we've never had the chance to fly kites before.

I have some experience. When your mother decided to go to school, I spent my time trying to find things to do with her.

[Kite flying looked so romantic. Juri would understand his love then, was pretty much his thoughts, then.[

And now I get to do it with my precious daughter and granddaughter. It makes me very happy.

How would you know? You're the one doing the embarrassing this time around.

[Let's not mention how Ai has done some embarrassing of her own, not that she's actually embarrassed at what her mother is doing now. She just can't help but tease Yuuki.

There are two grown children who wouldn't mind if their father hung around, flying kites right here. Ai will offer up her string to Haruka - not to hand over completely but so that he can hold on to it as well and they can fly it together.]

There are a lot of activities that we can all do here together, not just kite flying.

[Ai...! She's offering her string to hold with him, as if he didn't adore his grandchildren already. It's just another perfect moment to add to the ones he's had here. It's not the best situation, but he wants to take what he can before it slips through his fingers.]

We'll do everything we can. What kind of things would you like to do, Ai?

[Her grandfather steps in close, arm wrapping around her to grasp the string, all in the name of keeping her grounded in case she should lose her footing, when they all probably know (and he couldn't care) that he really just wants to embrace his family whenever he gets the chance.

And then, he glances at Yuuki, offering the other hand to her.]

Yuuki is an adorable mother. [Trying so hard to spend time with her family. Kuran family bonding methods!]
