Day 389 - Backdated to early morning! OPEN
[Another day another dollar. Only there are no dollars in Marina, and neither does she run the flower shop because she has to. Rather, she does it because she wants to. Because she needs the distraction, and enjoys watching things grow. The day is early, much earlier than her normal hours, but she needs a little time to think and organize her thoughts. And sometimes, even compared to her shared apartment, this is the place she can do it best.

And to be honest, she doesn't expect anyone to stop by so early in the morning. Not today. But should someone, they wont find Yuuki immediately anywhere in the store. At least not to start, despite the hot chocolate still steaming upon the counter top. Or at least... what they do find isn't what they expect.

With a small leap, a brown, fluffy cat jumps up onto the counter. Padding across the desk, she peers into the steaming beverage, before her whiskers twitch and she pulls back. Apparently it's too hot...]

[OOC: Have a Yuuki cat. She's simply playing around with her ability to transmute and change her appearance. It needed to be done for butler reasons.]

[Of all the reactions, it's unexpected. In fact, she thinks the sparkles she saw emanating from him just a few seconds ago are back. She feels herself slump in a touch of relief. He's not upset, at least. Which makes her feel a little better.]

Right? I think cats are super cute as well! [Even though she actually likes both.] Their little ears, and whiskers are cute, and their hard to read attitudes make them enduring in their own way!

	Oh- no. I've only done it a couple times. I mean... usually there would be a reason for it. [And the only time before this in which she had, was when she had been fighting that nightmare being and the escaped raptors. Mm! There's no reason we couldn't have a store pet.

[Although personally she would probably want her pet at home. Or if she was to have it at the store, she'd want it to commute with her when she comes and goes. It would be something to think about, unless he preferred to have a pet of his own here.]

You don't have a pet, right? If you like, we could go to the pet store. There's plenty of pets there that need a home. A store pet would not only be enjoyable to have around, but would probably draw others over, right? Everyone likes animals. [At least she thinks so.]

Mm... [She hums quietly a moment, glancing up in thought.] We'd have to rearrange the store a little though. Some plants can be poisonous to animals, so we wouldn't want it to accidentally nibble on something dangerous. We'd have to make sure to keep it safe.

No; I cannot keep a cat at home. [But in the store! The young master wouldn't be able to say anything because Sebastian wouldn't be keeping it at home.]

Then it should also have its own place to sleep, and its own food bowl. Perhaps over by the window? Cats quite enjoy sleeping in warm sunlight, I have noticed... I will get rid of the poisonous plants right away. [Let's do this he is 200% on board.

...He's actually going to get those offending plants as he speaks, brb. Stop him. Or not.]

Hold on-! Why don't we just start by rearranging the store. There's the green house, too. [They don't have to get rid of everything.] If we arrange things, we should be able to keep a room or area separate from the cat with any of the plants that might be harmful. Or even build an area, right?

Yuuki will even hear him hum something (Sebastian doesn't typically hum), very cheerfully, as he goes to (presumably) fetch some tools from somewhere in the back of the store. Or construction material. Or... whatever else it is he's planning on using.

But then he does go to catch up to her by the door.]

Do come back whenever you are ready, but please give me at least fifteen minutes undisturbed in here.

[And then he closes the store front door. What... kind of construction work is he planning on getting done in fifteen minutes. We just don't know.]

The cat bed. When placed in the window corner like this, near the counter, it will get maximum sunlight throughout the day, but maybe it will be too noisy when the cat wants to sleep? Is the bed soft enough? Maybe it could stand to be bigger, but then again, he doesn't want it to seem empty and non-cozy, especially in such a new, unfamiliar enviroment. Sometimes less is more. Maybe he should put a cat toy there already, as a welcome home present?]

She might also notice that there's a newly sectioned-off area in the store. While in a corner, it's big enough to be noticeable as soon as one steps inside the store, and the design is clearly meant to draw attention rather than attempt to hide it: aside from the door it's built entirely by glass blocks, the walls clear enough that one can see the outlines of green plants, vines climbing the walls inside. The "room" is built as a half-circle. Very beautiful, very alluring and mysterious, having such a strange greenhouse in the store.

But clearly that's less important than the matter of the cat bed.]

Allow me to show it to you?

My thinking was that, since it is a small store, it would be better to use a sectioned-off area to draw attention rather than try to hide it. I have already put all the dangerous plants in there, [here he opens the greenhouse door to let Yuuki look inside - there are shelves along the inner walls, full of plants, all arranged very prettily and colour-coordinated] and I added vines on the walls for aestethical effect. The door falls shut even should someone not close it after exiting, of course, so there is little risk of the cat accidentally getting inside.

I hope this is satisfactory?

It's incredible of course...! I just can't believe how you managed this all.
