Day 380 [Video/Action][Open]
[ "The rest of your natural life." C.C. wonders how long the technology in this prison was designed to last. The "lush and abundant setting" she wakes up to fills her with a profound sense of unhappiness -- an eternity in a single place isn't what she expected when she made her most recent choices. Will she still be able to find the World of C? Is she going to go back to being all alone, just when she learned the value of not being so?

She's still laying on her back in the middle of what looks like a park, pushing buttons on her communicator to see what it does. Finally, she manages the settings for a video message.

A bored-looking young woman with amber-colored eyes and bright green hair is asking a very important question, fellow prisoners: ]

[ It shouldn't be a surprise to hear her voice. And that question, too, is so familiar he almost can't stand it. But the question tells him nothing. She could be from the same point in time he is -- or from a thousand years in the future. She could know more than he does, or less, or nothing. Maybe she won't even recognize him. Maybe his face will have slipped away, into the ceaseless passage of time.

That idea -- is a little too much for him, just at the moment. ]
