Day 380 [Video/Action][Open]
[ "The rest of your natural life." C.C. wonders how long the technology in this prison was designed to last. The "lush and abundant setting" she wakes up to fills her with a profound sense of unhappiness -- an eternity in a single place isn't what she expected when she made her most recent choices. Will she still be able to find the World of C? Is she going to go back to being all alone, just when she learned the value of not being so?

She's still laying on her back in the middle of what looks like a park, pushing buttons on her communicator to see what it does. Finally, she manages the settings for a video message.

A bored-looking young woman with amber-colored eyes and bright green hair is asking a very important question, fellow prisoners: ]

Is there pizza here?

[ See, if Suzaku had come from mere hours than when he did? He probably have been exactly the soldier she is thinking about. Who he has been for a long time.

But.

He's had enough time to think about how wrong he has been, and enough shocks in the last few days...

Still. It's not up to him to explain those. Or even to fully recognize what he has lost, though his perception is good enough to know the difference.

He gives a small smile that makes his eyes even sadder. He didn't deserve the relief. Any relief. And yet Euphie has given him as much of it as he has allowed her. ]

She is a grace that I had not expected to be touched by ever again.

[ It's probably too soon to tell, and there's also the part where no, they probably haven't, but it'll be a different path from where he's fallen.

(He didn't even get the chance to offer, and fail, to kill Charles.)

Not much of an appetite. [ Small shrug. ] I was not saving it for anyone in particular. You might as well have it.

[ Especially with food not being restocked, it might be the last treat in a while, and he can make do with much worse than treats. But he's not mentioning the 'two days without fresh stuff' yet. That's for... after Lelouch catches her up. Suzaku assumes. ]

I'll have something like protein bars today. I'll have pizza or something nice-tasting later. [ When there's no food shortage. For example. ] Doesn't it make better sense that the pizza should be eaten by somebody who wants it?
