Day 380 [Video/Action][Open]
[ "The rest of your natural life." C.C. wonders how long the technology in this prison was designed to last. The "lush and abundant setting" she wakes up to fills her with a profound sense of unhappiness -- an eternity in a single place isn't what she expected when she made her most recent choices. Will she still be able to find the World of C? Is she going to go back to being all alone, just when she learned the value of not being so?

She's still laying on her back in the middle of what looks like a park, pushing buttons on her communicator to see what it does. Finally, she manages the settings for a video message.

A bored-looking young woman with amber-colored eyes and bright green hair is asking a very important question, fellow prisoners: ]

Is there pizza here?

[ It shouldn't be a surprise to hear her voice. And that question, too, is so familiar he almost can't stand it. But the question tells him nothing. [ He's not alone here. Euphie has done everything she could to make that clear. And Suzaku -- this strange Suzaku, who came here after dropping FLEIJA -- has been... trying, in his own way, much as Lelouch would struggle to admit that out loud.

[ To be fair, he wouldn't have his Zero clothing even if he suspected it was a thing.

But the way her face softens results in a very clear stiffening of his shoulders (that would not be her reaction in any time when he has known her, so she must be from the future, too, though the reaction makes him, for the first time, step away from thinking about himself and wonder), even if his expression doesn't actually harden. He lowers his head in a greeting half-nod, half-bow. ]

C.C. I would welcome you, but as you probably know already, this is hardly the place to welcome people.

[ Brief pause. And then, because. ]

As Lelouch might fail to mention that and it may be somewhat important, you should probably know that the Princess Euphemia is here.

[ For one, it is her home that Lelouch will probably take C.C. to. For two... Suzaku might not have had extended communication with C.C., but that is hardly a surprise to spring on anyone, however unintentionally. ]

But mentioning the Third Princess is a surprise. She wonders if that's what's causing Suzaku's distance. And more than that... ]
