[Closed to Spike]

[Funny how he wakes up feelings tired after so much sleep but maybe all the dreams have left him exhausted. He remembers some of them, some are more fuzzy, just impressions of rapidly fading feelings and images. He does remember the one with Spike though, and for awhile he's happy just to lay here curled up together, watching him sleep until he wakes up.]

[Closes to Jack]

[A little while later and he makes his way back upstairs to their flat, feeling a little guilty even if it wasn't his fault he stayed away longer than he planned to. And there's the fact that even though the scratches on his back and bruise on his leg are hidden under his jeans and t-shirt there's no disguising the raw red marks on his wrists from the handcuffs. There's not much point in hoping Jack won't remark on those so he just decides to hope for the best as he lets himself in.]

I'll do my best to be subtle. [He means it, even if he thinks it might be for the best if they did both remember. There's bound to be some awkwardness no matter how their relationship evolves but having their first time be a dream might make it a bit easier.

The thought of dreams makes him run a hand gently along the side of his face, still close even if they're not kissing anymore.] That was good yesterday, whatever it was. I liked getting to see Sunnydale.

It'd be nice to forget all that happened, because he knows what Jack will do with it, but on the other hand it would smooth things over to have their first go out of the way. 	[Its something they will have to work out on their own. He's smart enough to know when to stay out of something and this looks like a prime example.] The Hub, too. Even if it wasn't as nice. It was... informative. Knowing that. [ It's mostly bad, from where he's standing. Not just the cells, the whole thing, the people it chews up and spits out. He can understand that it's an important part of Ianto's life but that just makes it sadder. ]

Makes me wish I could've met you back then... and yes, I know it wouldn't be the same. A bloke can dream, can't he?

	I like meeting here. I think it's a better place than where I was, and maybe that's good for both of us. [He doesn't think Spike would have liked him at Torchwood, actually in action. It took me two years to tell Jack I love him and that was only because he said it first. I still introduce him as my boss half the time. I'm not good at the relationship part of all this. Luckily for you, the relationship part isn't important. [ He should let him go, but it feels pretty good to steal away some more time now that he can. He shifts in closer, sliding a hand over Ianto's hip, not with any real intention of getting sexy but surely with the intention of being sexy. ]

It's all about heart and blood and fire. The rest is just words people use to make themselves feel like they know what they're doing.

[He will be sneaking eventually but not just yet. It's hard, striking a balance between wanting to see Jack and make sure he's alright and not wanting to just run off like this is some sort of one night stand. It's a tricky balancing act but he's determined to do his best at it, at letting this be a real relationship with both of them even if that's one of those words he's not good with.]

[ You are the worst. Why is he making such an effort if this is the kind of abusive behaviour he's rewarded with?

He gives Ianto A Look, partially to maintain some sort of cover so he doesn't have to talk about claws digging into his chest and piercing his heart and the dead silence that comes when there's nothing left of you. No, he's going to unpack that one in private, if at all. ]

Nothing worth mentioning.
