[Funny how he wakes up feelings tired after so much sleep but maybe all the dreams have left him exhausted. He remembers some of them, some are more fuzzy, just impressions of rapidly fading feelings and images. He does remember the one with Spike though, and for awhile he's happy just to lay here curled up together, watching him sleep until he wakes up.]

[A little while later and he makes his way back upstairs to their flat, feeling a little guilty even if it wasn't his fault he stayed away longer than he planned to. And there's the fact that even though the scratches on his back and bruise on his leg are hidden under his jeans and t-shirt there's no disguising the raw red marks on his wrists from the handcuffs. There's not much point in hoping Jack won't remark on those so he just decides to hope for the best as he lets himself in.]

[ It is hard. He and Rose had such a casual relationship going that he's almost forgotten how hard it can be — and he didn't share her with anyone. It's not a bad thing what they got going here but damn is it going to take awhile to get used to it. He gets out of bed when Ianto does, pulling his trousers on and nothing else. Might as well walk him to the door. ]

We better. This is more commitment than I'm willing to give for just one night.

[Good, since at the rate he's going it's going to be a long, slow walk to the door. He pulls on his jeans and shirt but then pauses, catching hold of both his hands so he can hold them while he faces him seriously.]

It's not going to be just one night. I know this is weird and it's going to be weird for awhile but I don't want you to feel like it doesn't count, like what I've got with Jack is the real relationship and this is just something on the side. It'll take a bit of figuring out but tell me if I'm not here enough, or if you need more, alright? It's the only way we're going to make this work.

	[ He could brush it off, pretend like it's no big deal but it is a big deal. He needs to take this seriously. ] I will. [ He untangles one hand to reach up and brush it back through Ianto's hair, tidying him up a bit for the walk of shame. ] And if I get lonely, I'll just go upstairs and do some literal sweeping. 	[ It does feel a little final, even though he knows they'll see each other soon enough again. He moves his hand back during the kiss, cupping the back of Ianto's head and eventually letting it drop to give him a playful slap on the butt. ] Get going before I change my mind.
