[He's felt the wind in his face, but usually that's due to flying through the air while holding onto Jae-Ha's back. Idly he wonders if it's possible to travel faster than Jae-Ha while on this...bi...cycle.]

And it does not tip over to either side while on it...? [It's so narrow though.]

It can. If you're just sitting on it with both your feet off the ground it'll fall. When you're in motion, though, it stays upright. It does take practice and a good sense of control with your balance. Usually when kids learn they use training wheels, which are two smaller wheels attached to either side of the back one. It makes the bike less likely to wobble or tip over.

While it does not appear to be as fast as a horse, it seems to be a very quick mode of travel. There are many of these here? [It's his first time seeing one.]

Yeah. There's a whole store where you can get them.

I dunno. . . They can get pretty fast. [Says someone who never has seen a horse in person, let alone ride one. He's just grinning so brightly here] Wanna see?

I would be interested in seeing such... [It can't be faster than Jae-Ha, can it?]

[That's all Kazuki needs to hear to get going again. He takes off, quick to accelerate. The bike isn't made for speed, but he also isn't aiming for the speeds that competitive cyclists reach. So it's plenty fast enough for him. He might even head out far enough that Kija may find him hard to see, but whips around right after. He speeds back, clearly capable and very in control when he comes to a stop, one foot upon the ground to keep the bike upright as he remains seated.]

Neat, huh?

[Wha..... He's just amazed.]

. . . I want to try one of these cycles...

[Meanwhile he's amused.]

It does take practice, but I wouldn't mind helping out.

I am sure that if you can ride it so easily it will be a simple thing to learn.

It's because I've ridden one before. . .

[Kind of. Maybe. He's also just incredibly athletically gifted.]

You really need to be careful, though, and wear a helmet and maybe knee and elbow pads. Falling can really hurt, especially if you're going really fast.

I'll teach you, though, I insist.

Even without I should be fine. I have not worn such even when riding a horse.

[But he'd like to learn.]

I will take you up on your offer, however. I would like to learn how to ride one of these bicycles.

[But a horse doesn't require nearly as much balance control.]

I really don't want you to get hurt, though. [His attention lowers to Kija's clothing.] You'll definitely want to change into different clothes, too. The ones you have will make it really dangerous.

They're long and very loose. It would hinder the use of the pedals, and take nothing at all to catch in the gears.

I will look into finding... clothing that is suitable to such an activity, then.

I'm glad, then. It shouldn't be too difficult. What I'm dressed as is perfectly fine.

[That being a pair of cargo pants, a t-shirt, and sneakers. It shouldn't take much effort.]

So do you really just have horses where you're from?

[It's certainly different. But he'll figure something out. He's Hakuryuu after all. If a dragon warrior cannot pick out his own clothes, then he will be a shame to his title.]

My companions and I travel on foot most days. But by horse would be much quicker. Horse drawn carriages, or boats. Those all really the only options available.

It sounds like you're from a ways back in history, then. . .

[The idea of such really seems to catch his interest. It's so very different, and a long time ago, going off of those modes of transport.]

So what's your world like? Traveling around sounds like a lot of fun.

[Sorry, Kija. Even without his amplified cheerfulness he would be especially curious.]

[Normally he feels himself prickle when someone mentions his apparent time period, or being from the past. It's usually remarked in a way that makes them seem 'uncivilized'. But the way he remarks on it now sounds more curious than anything else.

Although... to Kija it's certainly not history. It's the present.

... Even if apparently he was from the past of his friends.]

It is a very beautiful place. There are many more trees and animals than what is found here. My companions and myself are traveling the country to find ways in which to help strengthen the people within.

You all must have so many adventures. I'd love to do something like that! Is it a very large country. . .? What's its name? This Dome is plenty pretty, already. I can only imagine what your home must be like.

[he's honestly envious, even though he really shouldn't be. it is what it is back home. But that's not something he'll focus on.]

That's a very admirable goal to be working towards. You and your friends sound like very good people.

Yes. The princess is an admirable individual. She is divine.

[So much devotion]

It is the Kingdom Kouka. I would say that it is large. It takes weeks to months sometimes to cross to certain locations. Although I would say from the maps I have seen that the Kai Empire is much larger.

Princess? Is she, or are any of your other friends here as well?

[He only knows of a Princess Leia.]

Ah. . . I can't say I've ever heard of it.

[Then again, there are plenty of places in his own world he's unaware of. General country names to a degree, but not many when it comes down to the smaller details.]

It does sound neat, though. I'm from a country known as Japan. [Or the remnants of.]

She is here. [A blessing and a curse. He's relieved that he is with her to keep her safe, but that she is here is frustrating understandably. The princess is definitely not a criminal.]

I have a few companions from home with me here. But two of our group is still missing. I am worried about them being on their own. I will say that I am unfamiliar with Japan, however. But I have heard it mentioned here on occasion.

[A small nod.] My best friend from home is also here with me, which I'm grateful for. It's been a long while since I last saw him. We know our friends and family back home are strong and can handle things well, but I do worry at times.

[More so about that whole clone part of this. There's no way.]

Same here! There seems to be different versions of Japan, which is kind of neat.
