It's that sort of a day where everything goes perfectly so of course that will, too. He'd rather drape his arms around Spike, still half dressed with his hair rumpled and his face flushed and generally looking anything but put together.]

Yeah, I think we are. [He's spent so much time telling himself this is just a crush he should get over but after that? No, this is obviously a lot more than that. Whatever this thing they have is its the real deal and it's hot and electric and intense but it's way more than just the sex.]

[ Later, when he looks back on this day and recognizes that he wasn't entirely himself, it'll still bring him pause in ways their fake engagement never did. He wasn't himself but also he was and he can't really argue that point. They are good together. Ianto may be the best friend he has in prison, the best friend he's ever had and that's a weird thing to think about for a guy like Spike. There's something here. Something he doesn't want to examine too closely and something he doesn't want to lose.

[Ianto's done this confusion before, when he started sleeping with Jack while Lisa was secretly hooked up to Cyberman life support machines just a few rooms away in the Hub. It doesn't mean he's an expert because it's a terrible thing to be an expert in but what it does mean is that his self-examination will be very different tomorrow. What is it about him that makes him keep doing this, and is it bad or is it just like Jack always says about the limitations of 21st century mentality towards relationships? Maybe he'll never really be able to answer it comfortably. But what he does know is that he likes this, whatever it is and knowing there aren't any easy solutions isn't going to make those feelings go away.

He returns the kiss, long and lingering and sweet. He doesn't want it to end or to get out of here but they do need to. Privacy can't last forever.]

We should probably go before someone walks in. Next time lets do it properly. Bed, romance, everything.

	Very well. [ A good idea and although he's reluctant to part ways, it might just be for the best. It's a gorgeous day and it'll be followed by more gorgeous days. They have time.
