[ There's been so much pain and anger and frustration since he arrived here, doubly so since Rose disappeared, but today there's nothing of the sort. He wakes in a good, affectionate mood that lingers throughout the day and being a person driven by emotion, Spike isn't really questioning it (today).

Instead he heads out, feeling cheerful, going about his day, getting breakfast at the Blood Shack and enjoying some time in the sunlight. It's a good day today, isn't it? Full of birds fucking. ]
