Day 363 | Action + Video
[As of the morning of the day, there is a menace in Quatro Park. Maybe not a terrible menace but Zeno is most definitely trudging through the foliage to find each and every single one of the pieces of artwork before then proceeding to crawl all over them. Literally. Each one becomes a jungle gym to him as he attempts to use the height of the statues to see a longer distance.

Mostly he's doing it to spot another sculpture but if he happens to see someone else then that's fine too. Good luck trying to get this grinning fool down from where he's at.

Eventually Zeno does turn his attention back to the weird looking device where he heard the voice. Poking at it until it suddenly turns on.

Have a teen blinking at it in confusion.]

Hello? Is this how Zeno talks to other people? [He seems to decide that it is.] Heeeelllllloooooo other people! [Cue him waving at the device though he isn't entirely sure that anyone can even see him.

Seriously, what a cheery guy he is.]

Zeno's name is Zeno and Zeno is new to this place. Hmm, what did the voice call it again?

[He wasn't really paying that much attention to it.]

If Zeno's here then maybe Zeno's friends are here too! Everyone should keep an eye out for Miss - she's short with red hair and Mister is tall with dark hair, then there's Hakuryuu, Ryokuryuu and Seiryuu. Don't forget mom! Mom makes the best food ever!

[Those descriptions are not helpful in the least.]

[ Kija is a brave dragon warrior.

That doesn't mean that he can't be taken by surprise, however. Which is why when Zeno suddenly springs up from the nature around him he practically tumbles backwards. Zeno...? Are you trying to give him a heart attack!?

The startle turns to surprise which turns to a moment of relief.]

Zeno. [Why couldn't he approach him like a normal person? Particularly in a moment like now. To be honest, he's never felt... so out of sorts as he does in this moment.] You should not sneak...

[ . . . "sneak up on others like that." But ordinarily he would have felt his presence. His inability to sense Zeno, and the lack of strength in his claw. . .

His brows draw down. With a shake of his head he starts again, his expression a complicated mixture of emotions. No. Right now, more importantly-]

I am relieved to see you. Although maybe not within this place too.

[Suuuure a brave dragon warrior that nearly tips over from a little bit of surprise. Kija has relied on his dragon sense for most of his life so for him to suddenly be without it is strange. Very strange.

Zeno feels the same way.

But he still greets Kija with a smile - the ever present one he always has.] Zeno didn't sneak. Hakuryuu just wasn't paying enough attention.

[He leans over to see the ankle bracelet which just like his own. It doesn't seem so tough that the clawed hand of the White Dragon couldn't be able to get it off.]

This place doesn't seem too bad. [Despite the fact that they are supposedly here for crimes they've committed.]

[ Ouch...! That hurts Zeno!? He pulls his arm back with a glare and a frown. Why are you pinching him and not yourself? Maybe he doesn't have strength within his right hand but you probably don't want him pinching you in turn with it...

He rubs the spot a moment, before releasing a sigh.]

I cannot sense you or the others, either.

[ . . . And this is where he becomes a little more reluctant. The reason why he's a bit more high strung in the moment than he might normally be.]

But I... [ . . . ] I cannot remove this object upon my ankle, either. [He means he doesn't have the strength needed to do so.]

[Well, he's real and not a figment of Zeno's imagination or a ghost like the rest of the Hakuryuus and Seiryuus and probably Ryokuryuus. Not that he explains any of that to Kija now. Instead he just keeps on smiling even though the taller man is giving him the glare that he usually reserves for Hak and Jae-Ha.]

So then maybe they're here and Zeno and Hakuryuu just don't know it. Good thing Zeno used the weird thing with the little voice to talk to everybody! This way someone will tell Zeno if they're here.

[So that's the reason behind Kija's frustration.]

It would hurt to try to get it off so maybe we just have to wait.

Ah...

[He frowns, glancing at the the strange object on Zeno that mirrors the magic device he had on earlier.]

Should I have kept it? It was speaking nonsense and so I left it behind.

[ While he doesn't like the idea all that much, he gives up on trying to free himself from the anklet for the time being. If he is unable to get rid of it himself, perhaps there will be someone else here who does have a way.]

[Despite the frustration it gives way to curiosity.] May I see yours? [At the very least he can be careful while inspecting something within his claw. Especially when he has no strength. Although for the most part that has caused him to be unnecessarily careful in the moment.]

I do not understand how it allows communication. [They can speak to others? People who are also wearing orange?] You are saying that if the princess is here then she will be able to speak to us through this?

Not sure, Zeno just knows that it lets people talk!

[He has no problem handing it over for Kija to see. At this point he's already inspected his own and tested all of the buttons.]

That Zeno doesn't know either but if you do this... [Points to the appropriate button and flicks it.] It shows you people's faces and you can talk to them! If Miss is here, she'll definitely hear us.

[Maybe it won't let him talk directly to the princess but he can talk to people who might have seen the princess. Zeno lets himself be manhandled by Kija, going along with him easily.]

Don't worry, Zeno and Hakuryuu will find it!

[When the pause at an intersection, he peers around the taller man to look down both.]

Zeno will go this way and Hakuryuu can go the other way to look for thing little talking thing.
