Okay. [As usual Kanji has to concentrate very hard in situations like this that require brainpower.] So there've been these murders happening at home, right? Like bodies appearing hung on cable wires on foggy days after it rains. And then also my senpai figured out you could see the victims on the Midnight Channel before they vanish. It's one of those urban legend things, right? Stare into a turned off TV at midnight and you see your soulmate or whatever. Only then they figured out we can use it to predict the killer, right? 'Cause he's throwin' people into the TV. Like the picture is all fuzzy at first but then it gets clear once he throws 'em in and if you've got a Persona you can go into the world inside the TV too. You got it so far? [Probably not. He's not great at explanations.]

No if you got a Persona you can just go in through it and these's this other world with Shadows in there! I can't do it here though, I tried. Uh, okay, so most Shadows are monsters right but if you get kidnapped thrown in the TV your own Shadow shows up and it's, like, all the stuff you don't like about yourself, you know? Like all the crap you hide and pretend doesn't exist. And if you try and fight it or tell it it ain't you or whatever it'll go crazy and attack you. That's what was killing people. It happened to me, only my friends showed up and fought it. And if you can accept it and be okay with it you get your Persona. It's tough but I think it's a good thing, in the end.

So anyway now we watch the Midnight Channel and try to figure out if there's a pattern and who it's gonna be and if we can save them. We know he targets people who appear on TV - like I was on the news 'cause they did this dumbass special about the biker gangs and this stupid news crew showed up while I was smashin' one. Made t out like I was their boss. It was total crap and I mean people are already scared of me enough at school, you know? Didn't really need that.
