[ Stranger things have happened. Okay, stranger things haven't happened and the last time equally strange things happened she was the one affected by it. That was different. That didn't involve getting squeaked at before she's even awake and oh my god there's a furry thing on the pillow and it isn't Gadget or Mittens because neither of them squeaks and she isn't awake so so so sorry Ton.

Yeah. She totally screamed a little while taking a newly awaken swipe at him with her newly acquired bear arms. ]

[Holy shit! Kanji has no idea what is going on but whatever it is it is awesome! He is the cutest damn puppy right now and the look even came with the bandana. He spends way more time than he should bounding around in front of a mirror and twitching back and forth as he tries to snuggle himself. Also way more time getting the door open than usual but eventually he makes it outside where he can scamper all over the dome just being cute and fluffy.]

[Oh this is just ridiculous. At least he's an animal that can look as annoyed as he feels. It's either stay in bed and snuggle with Jack all day or get out of the flat and he opts for the second one, deciding he may as well see who else is effected by this nonsense. He considers going to the library but these things usually only last a day as it is. Also he does not currently have thumbs so the idea seems a bit pointless. Instead he decides to wander around and see what's going on with the other residents.]

[It could have been worse, she could have woken up as an actual cat. As it is she's mostly just reminding herself of Sabertooth and Wild Child. She's still a human girl. She just happens to have exaggerated fangs and claws where here nails should be. There's also a tiger stripe pattern that runs from her head to the tip of her brand new tail. Her clothes took a couple of simple modifications to deal, but she makes it out and about. If she's like this, then she won't be alone and patrol is more important than the days in between the "fun."]

[ Could've been worse. He could've been covered in slippery goo, like last time this happened. Instead he's just sporting a pair of fluffy ears and a tail that doesn't want to fit in a pair of jeans. It doesn't really hinder him much in his day to day and so he doesn't see much reason to stay inside.

He's as approachable as ever today, making his rounds outside to scoop up stray kittens or help people who had the misfortune of not having hands today. Just holler! ]

[ He's been spending so much time locked up in the apartment lately and as good as that's been, sometimes a man just has to see the artificial sunlight and get some fresh digital air. How he manages to do this on the weirdest days, we'll never know.

At least he's not at risk of breaking his neck with a set of antlers, this time. Nope, just regular old Reid, feeling awkward about life but trying his best to ease the suffering of those less fortunate than him. ]

[Luckily, Piper had been turned into something with opposable thumbs. She was still too short to actually be able to reach anything to do anything useful with herself unless she found a way to climb up, which she found she was surprisingly nimble at doing. She had managed to get out of her apartment, but where she was going and what she was going to do, she wasn't entirely sure, yet.]

[Duo always reminded people of an overexcited dog, right? Because, apparently, that's what he was today. He actually kind of found it fun and amusing at first, running around and doing dog-like things that normally would be frowned on by people. It kind of amused the daylights out of him for at least the first half of the day.

By the second half, though... well, he was starting to realize that he might need some help with things like getting food.]

[Because shenanigans in the dome loved to make things punny, Kitty found herself as a "shadowcat"... a black tiger.

Talk about awkward. Luckily, the window to her apartment had been partially open, so she was able to make her way out that way and jump down a few hops over various things like awnings and dumpsters to the ground.

Well, she was nimble, at least.

Time to patrol and find out just how widespread this was.]

[Yen is, admittedly, a bit taken aback by what she finds in the mirror that morning. Which is to say that she yells out and stumbles back in surprise, knocking over a pile of utterly assorted hair care products that she had accrued. Very much like the assortment of scales and claws she had accrued overnight.]

[However, after some clinging to the sink and heavy breathing, she tries to decide what to do. As far as she's concerned, she's part dragon today. Ideally, she can avoid Haurchefant—showing up to his door looking like dragonkin is probably not the best thing for the poor man who already struggles with this whole situation—but on the other hand, she knows that staying put indoors may just be inviting trouble if he decides to come over.]

[So Yen, of course, takes the opposite route and decides to stay as far away from her apartment as she can. The opposite sector from 4 is 1, and so Yen decides to call an impromptu beach day.]

[This weird cat/lizard lady can be found lounging and/or running around terrorizing passersby.]
