[Where in the world is Kitty Pryde? She could be perched on a rooftop looking thoughtful. She could be at the Defense Force headquarters looking over notes. She could be at the educational center experimenting with a tangle of wires and circuits. She could be in her apartment, flipping through the movie selection. If you're one to be in her apartment that is. In fact, she is in all these places and more since you have to go in between to get here and there. She may look a little distant at first, but she'd rather have the company than not.]

And lately it's been different, but worse in a lot of ways.] I like having you around too. [Oh, look, feelings. Good thing the microwave beeps. She gets up to retrieve popcorn.]

[Kitty should probably not take Nathan's evaluation of her overall pleasantness as a popular opinion. She's okay with having him around, which automatically makes him like being around her. It's cyclic and probably unhealthy in a lot of ways.

But Kitty's up and avoiding feelings and Nathan doesn't say what's on his mind. That's for the best, undoubtedly, since what's on his mind is how messed up he'd be if Kitty left. She can't be allowed to do that.]

[Good thing the wardens don't have any plans for that any time soon. In fact she's back in the living room a moment later with popcorn and two bowls so they don't have to fight over who gets what. Besides, she'd totally win that fight.]

Guess we should start up a movie. [No need to go into more feelings tonight, anyway, right? They like having the other person around. What more do they really need to know?]
