[ Despite all those years being pummeled to a pulp it never really stops hurting. He chokes out a cry when the stake slides in, a stuttered crumbling noise like he doesn't know what to do with himself. It was too close and although he refuses to be intimidated by the threat, it makes his hands tremble with the rush of adrenaline. ]

Bastard..! [ Yeah, that's what he's going for. Pulling out the stake hurts even worse, leaving him on his hands and knees. ]
