Tyki Mikk is no longer in the prison. [She contemplates openly sharing that the Defense Force might be responsible for this, but she doesn't, mostly because too much is unknown. It was not what they intended nor was it what they seemed to have achieved in their attempt. Neither was everyone's powers changing yesterday, but that might be on them too. Or it was just the wardens playing games again.

Leading a team is something she understands. Communication with the people they are protecting is newer. She's not about to miss Lacus, but sometimes she misses having a public relations coordinator even if it sounded ridiculous at first.]

And I need to help people with their chores, so...there's that. [Three people specifically. It's her punishment for the hacking.] Tell me what you need done.

You're alive now. That means you've got a chance to try and change whatever you don't like about yourself. It's just the hardest thing to do.

...And I'm sorry you know it hurts. [She used to think she came from one of the worst, darkest worlds out there. That she'd lived a life no one here could relate to. That she was different in ways "mutant" didn't cover, but more and more she realizes the hard part about life is the living no matter where you're from.]

[He doesn't know what to say. Kitty knows more about his past - specifically Lisa - than anyone else here. Well, anyone except for Spike but he doesn't count in quite the same way. And he knows what she just did for him with Tyki, and what a sacrifice that must have been. You can't just say thank you for something like that and pretend it's over and done with.]

Is there anything I can do? For you, I mean.
