[Kitty is standing in a clothing store in Sector 4, trying not to freak out. She doesn't understand how it's possible, but she woke up decidedly pregnant ~~or at least her reflection did.~~ Not so much that it looks like she's giving birth any second, but more than enough to know it's not just that burrito from last night.

Shockingly, the prison clothing store does not carry maternity wear, but she needs something to...hide it. Until she can figure this out.

And eventually she'll have to leave the store, so there might be some attempts at stealth mode getting back to the apartment. Is it safe to airwalk through tree limbs while pregnant? Watch out for occasional falling leaves when she solidifies for a break.]

	I don't know. I haven't seen anyone else who looked pregnant to me. No one else has mentioned waking up pregnant on the network, but maybe they wouldn't. I don't know what it is. [Except kind of painful—the feelings, not the shot. Physical pain is nothing.] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[Once he's got the blood he starts fiddling around with some of the machines lining the clinic walls. It's different technology than he's used to but he's pretty sure this one checks hormone levels among other things so he gets the sample set up. Either it'll work or explode so either way he's happy.] To be fair I just glared surreptitiously a Chuck and then came here so that wasn't the most thorough detective work on my part.

Honestly? Never even thought about it before coming here. I just wanted to blow up as many Imperials as I could before one of them took me out. I guess I'm learning and growing and whatever here since that doesn't sound so appealing anymore. [Its like a beautiful after school special with spaceship explosions.] We've talked about it though. Chuck, obviously. I think it'd be nice, even if I would be a terrible influence on a child. What about you?

Awhile back when Piotr got hurt and he wasn't up for the full missions anymore. I wanted to leave the X-Men. Start a family of our own. [Even on a dying world. Maybe it was selfish. But she was so young and life was so short. She didn't want her whole life to be about death.] We went into teaching instead. Training the next generation. They were kind of like our kids. [Nevermind the part where some of them were nearly her age.]

Reid and I have talked about it. But... You know. These aren't even our real bodies. So this can't be anything real. I wasn't pregnant in that pod. [But she still doesn't sound convinced even though it's a pretty airtight case.]

	Yeah well one day we'll make our daring escape and live out the rest of our lives as boring normal couples babysitting for each other. You can yell at me when I let your children explode things in the microwave. 	Right there with you on this one. [He doesn't call her out on the voice thing. It sucks, and it would have sucked even if she had been pregnant given the current state of her romantic relationship. 	Okay, first of all I wouldn't just open the conversation like that. Come on, have at least mild amounts of faith in me. I'm just saying I've had to do stuff like that before.
