[Kitty is standing in a clothing store in Sector 4, trying not to freak out. She doesn't understand how it's possible, but she woke up decidedly pregnant ~~or at least her reflection did.~~ Not so much that it looks like she's giving birth any second, but more than enough to know it's not just that burrito from last night.

Shockingly, the prison clothing store does not carry maternity wear, but she needs something to...hide it. Until she can figure this out.

And eventually she'll have to leave the store, so there might be some attempts at stealth mode getting back to the apartment. Is it safe to airwalk through tree limbs while pregnant? Watch out for occasional falling leaves when she solidifies for a break.]

[Logan had stayed pretty close to "home", a small little apartment he's already covered in cigar ash and a few empty glasses from his bottle of whiskey. He's never had to deal with not having his abilities so far as he can remember so it was reason enough to be cautious, at least until the ankle monitor fell off and he could tentatively test the return of his claws. Boy was it fun re acclimating to an enhanced sense of smell.

He'd already gotten one change of clothes but he was in the mood for a new leather jacket. It's about then that Kitty's on her way home - other people's attempts at going unseen easily make him snort. He doesn't have to look up to know someone's in the trees - he can hear the trees rustle, the leaves fall. He can smell the person, too.]

You aren't exactly invisible. You might want to work on that. [He stops after a spiral of falling leaves land in front of him, chomping on his cigar.]

[She knew there was someone below, but somehow keeping her eyes off them felt like it could translate into them not noticing her. Besides, all she was really going for here was a little camouflage. Sure, it would have been nice to know no one else could see her the way she sees herself today—at least not without a reflection and even then it's iffy—but she doesn't realize that yet.

Her eyes open wider at the sound of that voice, because she knows that voice even if she hasn't heard it in awhile.]

Logan? [Her voice is a soft and surprised, but with his hearing he isn't likely to miss it.]

Wow, you really know your timing. [Normally she'd jump from the tree since she's already solid, but if she's with child... Airwalking down from the branches to see him. Her eyes go to his hands first. One and two. Not her Logan.]

[Okay, so he wasn't exactly expecting to be known right off the bat. He gruffly makes a noise and squints, watching her descend with curiosity - of course she's a mutant. Has to be. It makes him wonder then if he should know her and he tries to place the face from the many kids at Xavier's place. Yeah, no bells ringing immediately but she does have some sort of... familiarity.]

The one from my world is. [But she was pretty close with one who was here for awhile.]

And the trees...I was just avoiding people. [Not sure she wants to get into that right now, though it is odd he thinks she seems too young to be an X-man, but is okay with her being pregnant. The sweater isn't hiding it that well, is it? From Logan?] Congratulations on not being people.
