Hey. [Clearing his throat a little. He doesn't speak to everyone at once like this very often. But he's been working with Deanna to track this thing and now she's gone and he just needs to get the information out there even if he doesn't have all the details.] We have a situation. I've been talking to people and keeping an eye out and some of us are or have been affected by the pearls that were brought in from sector 6. [You know, by the green girl.]

I'm not sure exactly how they work, but they're amplifying or creating feelings in people. It could be anger or nothingness. [Those were a couple he was pretty certain about from Jack, Mal, and Korra.] But it could be more than that. It could be any emotion. [As far as he knows.]

If you have a pearl you need to get rid of it. [Driving this point home.]

If someone you know has a pearl don't touch it. It could transfer over to you. Just get them to...[yes, what? Put it in the trash] maybe just take them back to Sector 6 or call me and we'll talk about it. just don't keep it.

	That must be part of it. It's making you want to keep it. [He can understand why she and Nico don't want to let go of happy pearls but it was hard for people with sadness and anger pills too.] Flushing should work. Everything! [Oh the joys of teenage melodrama] Jareth still has Toby and he's probably a goblin by now. Everyone I talk to seems to have a friend from home and I have no one. And I just through away Nathan's present and he's going to be mad at me. And I can't help Tobyyyyyyyyyy!

[The sobs start coming on thick. Sarah would likely never try drugs after this experience. Coming back to reality was too difficult.]

No it's not! [She doesn't know about any watchlist because Sarah's really bad at keeping up with all the stupid communications. Or the defense force.]

I was supposed to save my brother and go back to my normal life without anything weird but instead he's going to be a goblin. And you're all from my future and come from weird places with weird things that happen. And there are stupid flying octopuses and other stuff. That's not okay Sam!

	Okay. Okay, it's not okay. It's not. It's not fair. It's strange and scary and... none of that matters. Because it's what we have to deal with right now. You don't understand. You made me get rid of it and now I feel like... like when I ate that peach. [It makes sense in her brain.] I was better with the pearl, and I don't like you for making me get rid of it.

[She hangs up then because she's still crying and it's making it hard to talk. Besides, he's just an adult. What does he know? Sarah curls up on the floor and lets herself cry it out.]
