Is there anybody who is really good at life stuff? Maybe... I dunno. We don't got any grandmas or grandpas around, I don't think.

I know you don't wanna hear from an asshole like me, but hear me out. Somebody good at figuring out how to do life stuff, I got some questions.

I lost both my parents when I was a kid so my sister raised me and had to put up with me being a sad, asshole kid. And adult, too, I guess, though I don't feel like I'm an adult. I lost my sister just before coming here. I dunno if you knew her much while she was here and on the Defense Force, but I was really, really close to Lacus before she disappeared twice. Aidan is the only person I'm close to now I don't know what I'm gonna do it I lose him.

I found Ianto again, here, after I'd watched him die back home.

And my brother came back. Okay, so he came back broken and vengeful and - well - it wasn't much fun... [even a truth spell will have to work hard to make him divulge to an 18 year-old that his brother buried him alive for a couple thousand years]

But I found him again, when I never thought I'd see him again.

You know those days we get sometimes where we get kinda crowded with people who only get to stay a day? My sister was around for two of those a very long time ago. [He shrugs.] I don't want her to be in a prison at all because she doesn't deserve to be in it, but I'm also way too selfish to be happy with barely spending time with her here and wish she was never brought here at all.
