[Between the rapidly swelling bruises on his face and the leaves stuck in his hair Phanan has the distinct look of a man who has just gotten into a fist fight with a vampire. Most unusual is his right hand; the plastic casing that houses the circuitry is chiped and the synthetic skin near his wrist is torn as if someone inadvertently bit it, which is exactly what happened. The fingers are twitching and spasming wildly, moving in a way that that is distinctly inhuman as the artificial skin crawls across them sickeningly. He's got some pliers and wire spread out on the table before him and he begins making repairs on it while he speaks. First he pops the casing open the removes the powerpack. Rather than going limp the hand freezes, looking very much like a machine that has had its power cut, which of course it is. Once it's powered off he starts rummaging around in it with the pliers, striping the wire and replacing it. It's all done a little awkwardly since he's using his left hand but he seems to know what he's doing.]

So just as a general warning vampire attacks are happening. So code whatever color we use for that one. Purple, maybe? Code purple? We should have more codes. Anyway as far as avoidance maneuvers go I recommend climbing trees. [Which explains the leaves in his hair. He fumbles a little awkwardly since he's using his left hand here and the video switches so that now it is...]

	Want to help me fix this skin? I was thinking about gluing it. There's no fleshglue here but maybe super glue? Also as a medical professional I can inform you that kisses do a lot to speed up recovery and dull pain. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It probably will but I'd rather not leave the wires exposed, and I don't really want to report this and see if the folks in charge have anything better. Most of it should be under the skin anyway. If it tears I'll figure out a new way to fix it. [He let's got of her hand and rummages around in a drawer until he finds some glue. He's got a lot of prosthetic fixings supplies in his apartment. He hands it to her and takes the ice pack, placing it on the side of his face and sighing happily.] Better.

	Just wait until we get to the kissing part. Then you'll really feel better. [ A little smile and then she gets to work on his hand, carefully gluing down torn skin and smoothing out edges best she can. Oh I have no doubts about how that part is going to make me feel. [He doesn't think anyone has ever helped him with his parts like this. Doctors making adjustments doesn't count since it's so impersonal and usually Face is more one to provide color commentary and heckle than actually work on his prosthetics. He pulls the ice pack off his face to check her progress.]

Looks perfect. I can't believe these things don't bother you. The replacement parts, I mean.

The women where you're from must be really stupid to pass up all this. [ Said lightly, but not as a joke. Her hand moves up from his to brush along his arm, seeking skin. ] Maybe the prosthetics are a part of you, but that's not everything you are.

	You're probably the sweetest person I've ever met. [Is he blushing? It's impossible to tell under all the bruises. He coughs a little awkwardly and covers it up by popping the powerpack back in his hand. He gives the fingers an experimental wiggle and looks pleased with the results.] There. Good as new.
