[Between the rapidly swelling bruises on his face and the leaves stuck in his hair Phanan has the distinct look of a man who has just gotten into a fist fight with a vampire. Most unusual is his right hand; the plastic casing that houses the circuitry is chiped and the synthetic skin near his wrist is torn as if someone inadvertently bit it, which is exactly what happened. The fingers are twitching and spasming wildly, moving in a way that that is distinctly inhuman as the artificial skin crawls across them sickeningly. He's got some pliers and wire spread out on the table before him and he begins making repairs on it while he speaks. First he pops the casing open the removes the powerpack. Rather than going limp the hand freezes, looking very much like a machine that has had its power cut, which of course it is. Once it's powered off he starts rummaging around in it with the pliers, striping the wire and replacing it. It's all done a little awkwardly since he's using his left hand but he seems to know what he's doing.]

So just as a general warning vampire attacks are happening. So code whatever color we use for that one. Purple, maybe? Code purple? We should have more codes. Anyway as far as avoidance maneuvers go I recommend climbing trees. [Which explains the leaves in his hair. He fumbles a little awkwardly since he's using his left hand here and the video switches so that now it is...]

[He's right there with her, coming as she clenches around him. His brain seems to have momentarily shut down and all he can do is stare at her and get lost in how good that felt while he tries to catch his breath. He finally gets his thoughts working just enough to gently extricate himself so he can lay down next to her and pull her as close as he possibly can.]

	Yeah, but by the time I figured that out I was missing half my face and in the fighter pilot corps where people tend to avoid serious because of the whole deadly job thing. 	We can make an elaborate color coded schedule to ensure optimal use of time for this. [Between the sex and the vampire fighting he's feeling pretty tired himself so he's got no problem shifting around a little to get comfortable before pressing a kiss on the top of her head.] Let me know if the glowing eye gets annoying in the dark, I can cover it up. [ Because they are alright. They were never not alright. Sure, she'd rather he didn't need them because them being there means there's a reason for them and him getting hurt seems so unnecessary, but there they are and that makes them alright. ]

I haven't forgotten about the eyepatch. I'll still make you one, so you have some options. [ A beat. ] Or maybe just a blindfold.
