Day 252 [video | open][action | baseball mingle]
[The video starts with Yuuri playing on a recorder. He's no Mozart (who is widely known for his recorder-playing skills) but he's not painful to listen to at least. After just a moment, he stops and smiles out at the people. (That's you.)]

Hi! I just wanted to get your attention and there's music stuff everywhere, so that was easy. Anyway, I thought instead of just having practice today we could have a game. I know we've lost some players and it's short notice, but I thought it might be fun. [And they could all use some fun and something to take their minds off attacks so...BASEBALL!] So, come play if you want to play even if you haven't been on a team before and come watch if you want to watch. I'll bring some snacks. You should probably bring some snacks too since I don't know what everyone likes. About two hours? See you there!

[In two hours the baseball field will be ready for a game. There's a table for snacks. Nothing too elaborate—punch, water, pretzels, cracker jacks of course. Sadly, no hot dogs unless you brought your own. People are welcome to join a team for the day or sign up to stay on one! They'll also find lots of musical instruments because it's just one of those days. Nothing like a stand full of people with cymbals?]

(OOC: We aren't really going to play out a full baseball game, but feel free to respond to Yuuri's video broadcast here or tag yourself in to a mingle which can be before, after, or during the game. RNG says The Flying Knights will win this time!)

[ Haruka has yet to meet a sport she doesn't excel at, even with her mind a million miles away. So although what happened a few days ago is still weighing heavily on her thoughts - more out of the impression it's given her of the stakes in this prison than out of any lasting trauma; her encounter was incredibly unpleasant, but at least it's done - she shows up for the game like a dutiful teammate, playing outfield for the Flying Knights and catching every ball that comes near her and even some that don't.

She zones out on the sidelines when it's the Knights' turn at bat, though. Apparently the wind out here is enthralling - that, or she's falling asleep standing up, with her head lifted in an almost noble pose. ]
