I... actually, I just wanted to tell you sorry for the other day. [She's still rather embarrassed and horrified over how much she was spilling her guts. Talk about emotional.] The truth is... I was really really over exaggerating some things. I mean-- Big brother has made mistakes in the past, but he's not a bad person. [BACK TRACK BACK TRACK] He's goal orientated, but he-- that is... if he was to arrive here, he wouldn't harm anyone.

Also I'm a very, very spoiled individual. Even with Kaname-oniisama, he had to put up with a lot. Even despite that he still pampered me, so... [Wow she doesn't even know what to say sdkfhsfs] I mean, some of the things I was making a big deal about are my own fault.

I'm just trying to say, you should just forget about the other day. I'm really not traumatized by anything. [L-LAUGH] And I'm not upset about... the class was abandonment issues, right? [She went to too many] I mean, I'm even better about going out on my own now. [At least here in Marina] So it was kind of silly.

I just... wanted to clear that up, is all...

[Well she wont pry. Not when it sounds personal. And she's glad, too, that he's taking what she told him at face value. For a little while she's fretted a bit about the things she told him.

In the end she's aware that she still very well does have some issues she has to work on. But she's not sure that she's ready to talk about them to others. While certain things, she's still in denial about. But Kaname is a subject she doesn't like to talk about.]

Although, Reid-san is a doctor, right?

Well, with your understanding of how people might think, or work, I thought you'd probably know a bit more about whether people needed therapy anyway. I mean, your job is to get into the mind of how real criminals work.

So in the end, what do the wardens know, anyway? They're just programmed machines that can't account for human emotion at all. [Yep, that goes for nonhumans, too. Everyone feels after all.]

Well, uh... I don't really work on this type of scale back home. The first thing to take into consideration though is the immense individual differences — we're certainly not all criminals and even those that would be deemed as such in my world- [ Like Kitty. ] -doesn't necessarily live by those same standards back where they're from. Cultural differences, customs, societal norms... it's more complicated than just doing right or wrong. First we have to establish what is right and wrong.

[ Woah okay that is a rant that is starting to get out of hand. He reigns himself in, clears his throat. ]

That said... you don't have to be a criminal to benefit from therapy.

There's someone I'd like to think it would benefit, but... [Sigh] I doubt he'd talk. Getting him to talk to even me can be like pulling teeth sometimes. [It's frustrating.]

Somehow, though... he seems to be doing all right, lately. [It's weird. She's happy for him, but in a way she feels... a little useless, too. She's used to helping him. When he doesn't need it she's not sure what to do with herself. She shrugs a little and smiles.]

Actually he prefers to stay here in Marina, now. So... I'm not sure what to say about that, either.

Well... it doesn't. Not really. Not at home, anyway.[Though they had started to work together... until the memory incident.]

To be honest, we used to live together. We were really good friends. [Opening up a little? On her own?] My adoptive father took him in after the death of his parents, but he never wanted to be considered family for some reason.

[She tried to pull the sister card on many occasions.]

Back then he didn't know what I really was. When I was little there was a spell done that sealed me within a human body. Even I didn't know, because the spell also erases the memories of the person that it's done to.

[A smile and shrug]

Anyway, his family was slaughtered by a pureblood. He already came from a family of vampire hunters, so after that... [A second shrug. It probably speaks for itself, right?]

When he found out that I was a pureblood... You can probably guess how he took it. We didn't see each other again for a year since I was forced to leave and hide. And after various promises I hadn't really expected a friendly reunion.

[ . . . All the people she knows promise to kill her orz ]

But after... [A little quieter] After my brother left my adoptive father had me arrested as a person of interest. It was due to my relationship to my brother, after all... and because I was a witness to something.

[A glance up to Reid.] I think he really arrested me because he was worried though. Although maybe he didn't have much choice... it isn't against the law to hold a vampire indefinitely, even without a reason. Anyway, [More importantly] I'm supposed to be under the watch of the Hunter's Association at home and not allowed to do anything without being heavily monitored.

[Though heavily restricted she still had more freedom than normal, probably because of her relationship to the current standing president.]

Anyway! I ran away. I want to find my brother and stop him from some of the things he is doing, because I don't agree with the methods that the association wants to employ. Zero ended up following me, and although I told him to leave me alone and that he had duties to the association, he decided that our goals were in alignment. So somehow we've become allies again at home.

Like a friend, because that's what they are now as proven by how much she's opened up to him lately. It feels pretty good, like he's doing something right. Like he's making a little bit of a difference. A small smile lingers on his lips throughout, growing or fading in intensity depending on where in the story she is. ]

And how has it been here? This place can... well, I'm sure you know.
