[Odds were pretty good they'd cross paths again in the same place as they first met, the two of them men who were more or less driven by coffee for their own reasons. Which, thanks to that lovely talk the other day, weren't so different on a few accounts. Of course, now that he's looking back on it, Karev's not sure why he couldn't stop yapping. A little grumpy over it, in fact, when he sees Reid's already in Bean Crushers when he arrives, he contemplates leaving.

But because they talked, he doesn't. He just nods, going straight for the coffee.]

[ It was definitely weird but in a way also very cathartic. If nothing else it cleared the air between them and as far as Reid is concerned, he really doesn't need any more enemies in this place. Calling them friends would be an exaggeration of course, but this is better than nothing.

He returns the nod and follows it up with a motion to the empty seat opposite his. C'mon guy. ]
