The name's Kitty Pryde for those who don't know me. I'm the current leader of the Defense Force. It's a group that works on ensuring the public safety whether that's from each other or our robot overlords. [Not to mention putting an end to this whole prison thing. She figures it's no secret from the wardens, but it still feels a little too brazen to be that specific in the public announcement.]

We're accepting new members in combat, investigations, and dispatch. There's an interview process if you're interested. I'll make up answers if you make up questions.

Seems like we've lost some people recently. We may have more joining our ranks soon. Until then, Data, I want you to lead Sector 5. Hopefully, we'll have more for you to lead soon. My team will back you up until then.

I want to talk to members of Sector 0 and 4's teams to see who to appoint as leader or temporary leader. [Spoiler alert: she is not picking you, Sougo.]

If anyone else has anything to report I'm listening.

This won't be the first time I've had to deal with difficult people. [ her friend is damon salvatore. if he isn't "difficult," she has no idea who is. ]

	[Kitty would definitely agree Damon is difficult. Fun, but difficult. Sougo is less fun at least in her estimation.] I might. I'm going to see what Yuuki has to say too. That covers it. One of the members of your team is a vampire. [And there are so many options to choose from as to whom it might be!] We're all from very different backgrounds. What's true at home isn't always true here. I just need to know everyone can function together. [It's covered in the initial application process to some degree, but that doesn't mean there isn't still learning curve. Kitty is still feeling the learning curve of working with humans.]

If I thought you would, you wouldn't be on the team now, but it's still good to know.

[She pauses, taking the moment to collect her thoughts. She's torn on this decision seeing positives and negatives either way, but at the risk of giving Sougo what he wants...] I'm going with Yuuki for the leadership position of your team. She's been on the force for a long time and she knows the prison well. She doesn't have a lot of experience with leadership, but she'll have you backing her up.
