Evening 241 } Action } Open Mingle
[ As mentioned by the wardens yesterday, Eric is hosting a costume party. The Blood Shack is lit by candles for the evening (he remembers the last party he had being interrupted by a power outage) and a small buffet of sorts has been erected. It furnishes mostly hors d'oeuvre and finer foods, things that Caroline picked out as Eric hasn't a clue about human food.

There is blood on tap (naturally) as well as a full bar. Eric has made certain to include water, sodas, tea and various non-alcoholic drinks.

The jukebox is playing a variety of music, but patrons are always invited to pick out their own music. The dance floor has a disco ball and there's the ever present 'dancing' pole on stage if someone gets brave. Tables are scattered about as are sofas and chairs so that people have a choice where they sit.

Enjoy yourself, mix, mingle and admire everyone's costume and everyone is required to have a costume in order to be here. ]

[Garcia strikes a pose with one hand on her hip and the other pointing off at nothing.] Holy good guesses, Batman! She got it in one!

[Chuckling, she resumes a less hero-y stance.] Yeah, I miss the little guy. We had some fun chats. Actually, Spiderman got me started on the whole tribute outfit idea, and there is a sentence I never thought I'd speak outside of REM sleep.

[A dismissive hand motion.] Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. I mean, we all come here with our own idea of how Things Should And Should Not Be Done [her tone there makes the capitalization clear] based on what we knew back home, right? So he was young or whatever, big deal. He did his thing and did it well, from everything I know.

I mean I'm not exactly the quintessential FBI employee, either! It's all a matter of using what you got. And you have a responsibility to use the best people to help head things up, even if they're not who everyone would pick.

[She didn't manage to change Hotch's mind on this issue, though she tried! Teenagers aren't ideal crime fighters but hey, this ain't an ideal situation.]
