Hello, everyone! I wasn't expecting so many new people so soon! I'm not sure we'll have welcome baskets ready for everyone. [Partially because Euphie has been here long enough to suspect that if this is like any of the other times the wardens will "fix the glitch."] But I do hope you all have a safe and happy time today.

Everything here is free, so if you need clothes or food just go to any store or restaurant and you should be able to find what you need. Tonight when you want to sleep there are three different apartments with plenty of open rooms. You're welcome to take any open one for yourselves. Oh! And be very careful to stay out of Sector 6. It's dangerous. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Ah, and Cornelia, if you're out there it would be very nice to see you.

[Pheia's seen a lot of things in her career as a pirate, and she's seen plenty of weird stuff in Marina already, but she's never seen anything quite like a cherub. Her eyes widen and her mouth drops open slightly, but a moment later she's recovered, and gives Calliope a genuine smile. She tries to look as warm and friendly as someone with a vicious scar slicing through her face from chin to cheekbone can look.]

Don't be silly. I might strike fear into people's hearts for a living—or, did—but when I do it by mistake, the decent thing to do is say I'm sorry.

[she gives Faith's butt, which is still sticking out of the door, a Look.]

Faith, please apologize to Callie.

[Alas, the brief moment of clear surprise is both what Calliope expected, and also not very helpful. The smile almost makes it worse, somehow. Pheia only does not get a face-full of door thanks to Calliope's fairly decent manners.]

[She does opt to sort of stare generally ground-ward, though.]

Gods do not apologize!

[Faith drifts through the door all the way, Its butt vanishing from view. It moves to float a couple feet behind Calliope, watching Its khen over her shoulder.]

[Pheia bites her cheek. Wow this girl is really self-effacing, and her God is really rude. She keeps her smile in place as she tries to catch Callie's eye.]

...Why don't we go back to the shop and get some more 'iced cream', then? My treat.

Don't mind It, Callie, sweets. It's very young, especially for a God—It doesn't really know how rude It's being. It doesn't mean any harm.

[Faith's many eyes all start to frown at the same time, but It doesn't say anything for now.]

It's overwhelmed by our new surroundings... and, honestly, so am I. We arrived here only this morning—it's a lot to take in, to say the least.

	I understand. [At least, she does for the last part. There is a lot she doesn't understand about Faith and all that, but she isn't about to focus in on it.] Normally, the arrival groups are much smaller.
