Hey, everyone. I'm sure there are still plenty of people I haven't met yet. I'm Asami. Asami Sato. And I want to... [She actually isn't rightly sure how to preface this question, so she launches right in.]

Do you feel safe here? The Wardens aren't trying to hurt us, but there's plenty of other... stuff. [Like people trying to hurt each other.] Does it worry you?

[Asami will be spending a large chunk of the day either out wandering to see what random bits of detritus she might be able to find around the prison or at home looking to see what she can make out of it.]

	I don't plan on doing anything yet. But I have some experience making... things that help people defend themselves. [She's a little reluctant to say weapons. Not that she's unwillingly to own up to it, she's just worried that sooner or later she'll get an overenthusiastic response if she talks like that. There is so much to be taken into account in the wide field of "defense." Are you familiar with shielding technology, or perhaps with something that has more of a bite? [ the former seems highly unlikely to him, but he doesn't sound too overeager about the latter. cautious, though, despite still being curious. it's a delicate subject. ]

	I can add as much bite as I have to. Shielding technology might be tricky with nothing but scraps to work with, though. [Also, she doesn't know how to make it. Or even exactly what it is. But since when has that stopped her?] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I should think it far simpler to craft weaponry, but then come new dilemmas, for there are volatile persons in this dear little dome of ours. "Shady" indeed. [ he rather resents that. he considers himself more deserving of a duchy than life imprisonment. no one else feels quite the same way, but he pays such details little mind and gives a somewhat mournful shake of the head. ] One must keep eyes peeled, as it were— threats lurk around every corner of this place, as much as some may wish to pretend otherwise. [ this fact actually delights him, of course. ] Such optimism is so very impractical.
