[ Well, this certainly wasn't the manor. I mean it's not like she hasn't been through this before. The whole waking up in a prison thing usually meant an interesting ending. Ehhh. Not a happy ending to say the least. This was not good. Not good! ]

How do you work this stupid--

[ raising a brow, she fiddles with the device, Phoebe's never seen something like this so give her a moment. annoyance was plastered all over her face. ]

Is this thing on? [ Obviously it is. ] Oh.

You know, the jumpsuit is a little overboard. Orange isn't my color.

[ she seems experienced, like she's been down this road before. calm in her outer appearance, but a mess inside. ]

Listen, I won't be stuck here for long. My sisters will find me and when they do, be ready.

[ she understood the tone of elena's voice. that note that stirred the inevitable feeling of defeat - something she tried her best to push away to keep her chin up. ]
Don't tell me it's never happened. No one's ever gotten out?
[ plenty of people. ehhh. if plenty of people wanted to escape, it would have been done, with or without the charmed ones. not good. not good at all. ]

[ elena doesn't want to believe it either. it's the last thing she wants to believe; that there's no way out of here. voluntarily. ] Not that we know. The only way out is through this dimensional stabilizer. [ which is a whole lot of physics she doesn't really understand, but she's been researching the basics. ] That is if we believe the wardens. [ which elena doesn't, as a rule. but that doesn't mean it couldn't be true. elena just needs to have hope. ]

Yep, I'm not going to trust in that. If it's too hard to say or understand, it means something bad, very bad.
