[She's so sick of this prison. If it's not losing people to dimensional stabilizers than it's getting in stuck in super prisons with no powers and mandatory activities. And now she's back to the first one with a slew of new confusing memories to deal with.

Fantastic.

At least now she knows what else the Niklaus here had been hiding from her -- he had disowned her. It recolors some of the interactions here in the prison to be certain and she finds herself suddenly grateful she had decided to turn on him before he got the chance to turn on her again.

Not that it matters now. He isn't here anymore.

And neither is Kol. Who's dead back home. There's so much new information to process, she doesn't know where to begin. So she tries to push it down.

So did everyone come back here with a slew of fun new memories to torment themselves with, or is that a special little gift they gave me?

[ He's not planning on ignoring future events (can anyone say hypocrite?), but he'd like to minimize her getting all upset over things that are happening back home. He can't help it. It comes with the caveman attitude.

And ugh. He knows this whole attempt to get her to focus on her life here and pay less attention to the things going on back home isn't ever going to work, but it's still worth a shot anyhow. ]

I doubt you'll find out the truth from Barbie Klaus. She's a meanie.

[ elena knows rebekah can lie, omit, whatever. she knows at least rebekah can choose to work for only herself. that's was this alliance was based on, that surety. (maybe it surprises her how much she doesn't want that to be true, that rebekah would, always. how the past few weeks have shown her it can be a choice for rebekah. not to be cruel and self-serving, to serve her brother, but to care about others.)

she presses her lips together, says nothing, because she has her doubts and she knows he does, and they're very valid. (she can handle herself; she wants to be left to it. she's mollified by that much. and that he cares.)

she's being careful. he can curb his caveman.

speaking of events they don't know about. haven't known about. she exhales. ] Look Damon, whatever happens back home, we can deal with it. [ because they have. they always have. ]

[ she tries not to be concerned for her, for everyone - but she feels it, at once. shifts a little. the question is calm, measured. asked because it's what's important to her, what she suspects is important to rebekah, if not for the same people. and if anyone will tell her the whole truth without a fight, it would probably be rebekah. (that is if nothing has changed between them.) ] Is everyone okay?

but she dismisses the thought as soon as it occurs to her. how could she take a cure knowing so many other people she cares about would want it too? deserve it? when it could be used for something better, something smarter?

[ it doesn't surprise elena to hear rebekah would want it. not really. maybe for a moment, she's surprised rebekah would admit to it, would want to give up the power that has kept her safe and in control - or as safe and in control as she could be with her brother.

(she knows there's no way they would have given it to her - at least not damon or stefan. and a part of her thinks it would be better used for klaus anyway, practically, even if rebekah might deserve it.

[It's a simple answer and not. There had been a time when Elena wanted it -- but once there was only one dose she had decided it wasn't right for her to take it -- let alone emotionless Elena who hadn't wanted it at all.

Rebekah doesn't say any of it though. These are the secrets she keeps this time. Not to protect herself but to protect others. It's a strange change of pace.]

	Fairly dangerous. The one I knew back in the twelfth century managed to dagger me and my whole family. They have supernatural abilities to them. They're stronger, faster, more able than regular hunters. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
