[What better way to kick off a mingle than to broadcast the invitation to the entire dome?]

Hey ya'll. I know it's kinda outta place t'say Welcome to Marina cause no one really wants t'be here, but it ain't all bad. In any case, I've got a bar an grill here in Sector 4 called Merlotte's, figure th' new arrivals may want to come on down and have a drink or two after a trip like that.

Anyone's welcome of course, we're open from mornin' to night. Come on in an' have a bite to eat or somethin' to ease your troubles.

((ooc: This is an open mingle. Feel free to thread everywhere with anyone. As always, before threadjacking make sure it's okay by the player but otherwise have fun! Sam is available to chat with either by Video or in person and his thread is right Here. There is a full menu of down-home diner/grill sort of foods, so hamburgers, french fries, salads, soups, breakfast items or whatever other comfort food you can think of and a few other things from other worlds. There is a full bar, wine, liquor, beer and even blood or synthetic blood. He also has a pool table and there's plenty of room in booths or tables to play cards or whatever else.))

I wasn't bragging. [ Far from it really even if he put a shit-eating twist on it so he doesn't sound as worried as he is. Considering that every vampire that has thus far gotten a taste of him has made advances or DRANK him? Well...

All except for Spike. Which is curious considering Eric is a much bigger bad than Spike could ever hope to be. Not that he's complaining that the other isn't chomping at the bit.]

I told you. I was keeping an eye on a threat and trust me, telling me you're not hungry, doesn't exactly make me feel better.

Well, I'd say he has decent control. First time he accidentally got a taste the first thing he did was warn me off.

And needless to say you can understand my caution. [Seeing as if Eric was holding back with Spike and Spike holds back with Helix... yeah]

Saya and now Eric, you're the only other Vamp I know that got a taste. Kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

[After all, out of all of them, Saya is the most unlikely to attack anyone. Of course, again, she wasn't herself. So long as people are normal he could relax a bit more. Also, little does he know Eric is now kind of his body guard since he'll feel it if he's in trouble.]

Honestly he's not entirely sure of his tactic at this point, could serve as a good way to test the waters though. Could also get him killed but when has that stopped him before? Prodding a vampire turned him into a meal and he wants to see just how much of a threat Spike is. Or if he really would rather beat the snot out of him than drain him.

What is your problem with me? Why does it bother you so much that I talk to you? Is it cause I'm not scared of you like you want me to be?

[Except lately he's been extra paranoid, but the guy told him to tone it down just a minute ago... so he's a little confused here.]
