Day 219 [video-->Action] Merlotte's Mingle - Open to All!
[What better way to kick off a mingle than to broadcast the invitation to the entire dome?]

Hey ya'll. I know it's kinda outta place t'say Welcome to Marina cause no one really wants t'be here, but it ain't all bad. In any case, I've got a bar an grill here in Sector 4 called Merlotte's, figure th' new arrivals may want to come on down and have a drink or two after a trip like that.

Anyone's welcome of course, we're open from mornin' to night. Come on in an' have a bite to eat or somethin' to ease your troubles.

((ooc: This is an open mingle. Feel free to thread everywhere with anyone. As always, before threadjacking make sure it's okay by the player but otherwise have fun! Sam is available to chat with either by Video or in person and his thread is right Here. There is a full menu of down-home diner/grill sort of foods, so hamburgers, french fries, salads, soups, breakfast items or whatever other comfort food you can think of and a few other things from other worlds. There is a full bar, wine, liquor, beer and even blood or synthetic blood. He also has a pool table and there's plenty of room in booths or tables to play cards or whatever else.))

[Watching the... very much undead guy... put pin-prick holes in his wall with a poster of where's waldo. He's not sure how to feel about it, but as long as he ain't stirring up trouble then what's a few holes in the wood?

Still... there's a matter of respect to be paid here. So he'll walk up, arms crossed over his chest as he watches the guy toss a dart or two before speaking up.]

Ya know, I woulda prefered ya ask first before puttin' holes in my wall.

And I've been wondering. How is there not a single dartboard in sight, hm? [ He puts another hole in the wall before he turns to look at the guy. ]

My bad. [ He lets out a crooked smile. ] I should have asked. That was rude of me. [ See? He's going to do that thing where he pretends he's a decent-ish sort of guy for one night and not be that jerk. It's how he got to be friends with Carol and Liz and the rest of the Council members back home. He's capable of it. Sometimes, he even misses it. ]

I'm Damon. [ He steps forward and offers Sam a firm, but friendly handshake. ] Big fan of Merlotte's. [ He's almost a regular. ]

	An' I'm wonderin' where ya got th' darts. Or how for that matter. [He's interested in getting a dart board! Also he'll give an equally firm and friendly shake.] Thanks Damon, glad ya like it here.
