It's an event everyone can enjoy!

There are some traditional snacks on hand. No alcohol sadly, but you can still have soda, hot dogs, and popcorn among other things. The bleachers provide enough seating for those who want to see exactly how vampires, humans, demons, mutants, etc. all play together. Not to mention some of them only recently even learned what baseball was. Never a dull moment at least.

In the end, it's the Flying Knights who win in this fairly evenly matched game, but there was some impressive action for both teams It should be an interesting season.]

It's a little nerve wracking playing with so many humans though, don't you think?

[Implying she knows he isn't, although it's innocently said, on her part.]

Playing at full strength could actually be pretty dangerous. [It's difficult tempering the strength and speed down when it's so natural by this point.]

Mm...

[That is a feeling she understands all too well. What ultimately, is probably the most frightening thing of all. She's genuinely only seventeen years old. But even she looks into the future and finds the prospect of eternity frightening.

Of watching the people she cares about, even other vampires, slowly decay over time, while lingering on as a pureblood.

In the end it's a moot point, though, as long as she returns home. If her plans succeed, then just reaching eighteen isn't looking too possible. But she understands- maybe not the extent, not having lived through it, but looking through the memories of that person who is still so important to her.]

No one wants to or deserves to go through life being lonely. Least of all for reasons of being different. In the end, that feels too much like a punishment.

[Not being able to interact, for those reasons. She glances up to him.]

A couple of grumpy hunter's aside, that doesn't seem to be a big problem here though, huh.

I tried to do it. But I think all it did was make me lose touch of my humanity too much.

I'd like that to be the case outside of this place too.

[But it's true. Especially when they are all stuck here in the same situation. When it's put like that, they aren't all that different from one another.
