Day 207 [Video] Early Evening

[The feed opens up with a close up of Helix's face and he's looking past the camera to someone else, who's holding the device.]

Okay, back up. [They comply and the view reveals that the teen is sitting at a piano.]

How's this?

[Some of you might recognize the soft, southern drawl as Aidan behind the communicator.

Helix nods and breaths deep before settling down on the bench, fingers hovering over the keys. He should probably address everyone and tell them what he's doing, but he thinks it's pretty obvious. So instead, he just starts playing this beautiful piece.

A certain Noah broke his wrist the other day but it seems to be working perfectly now. And when he's finished he closes his eyes, breathes out once more as if coming out of a meditative trance and turns to retrieve his communicator from Aidan.]

That's it. Punishment fulfilled. Carry on.

[And the feed is shut off.]

You know, technological development-wise your world - galaxy, ahem - sounds like a blast. It might even stand to be compared to this one! [Tact, Puck, have you heard of it? Way to focus on the wrong thing.]

But as for your people... it's the curse of being gifted, or special in any way, sadly. ["Or weak and exploitable" he thinks, but wonder of wonders, doesn't say out loud.]

Guess we'll never know that. All we see is what they've accomplished in building this facility. Until we see the surface of the planet or what's beyond it we'll never know if it's the same.

Hell, we could be in my galaxy somewhere for all we know. This sort of thing is easily covered up, why would any outsiders need to know of this prisons existence?

[A shrug. If he were more sensitive about the subject that particular line might have pissed him off, but he's doesn't care as much as he probably should.]
