[ quinn's out shopping today, flitting in and out of various stores in sectors one, two, and three. she doesn't particularly need anything, so much as wanting to indulge in a little retail therapy. funny how not having looking at price tags takes some of the fun out of it. at present, she's unaware of the bots that are out and about today, and can't quite figure out what holiday the wardens were referring to this morning. ]

Must be one of their made up, prison-only ones.

[ seven, on the other hand, is very much aware of the bots and is actively seeking them out -- though not with the intention of doing any kissing. she's curious and following orders to observe and gather data on the technology present in the dome, which happens to include those pesky kissing bots on this particular day.

feel free to bump into her in any sector of your choosing; she'll be making her way through all six with her tricorder at the ready. ]

	[Rose knows that the bots are about, but she's entirely too curious about them to stay inside. She's not exactly stalking them, but she is following them about, staying away from other people as well as she can while following the bots. [ sookie doesn't have the luxury of staying in today. or maybe she does, but she feels too much of an obligation towards sam to skip her shifts at merlotte's because of a couple of kissing bots. she doesn't like the idea, but she doesn't want sam to be stuck without any waitresses and have to rely strictly on the regular bots to help him out if the other girls decide to be no shows today. so, she'll be there most of the day, taking your orders, cleaning off tables, and being caught by those damned bots. ]

[Rogue didn't make it to her shift at Merlotte's without incident, but it's been nothing bad enough to deter her from work. Besides, she figures hiding in the kitchen at Merlotte's is just about as safe as hiding in her apartment. There's a lull in work and the dishes are all done, the kitchen is scrubbed up. She peeks out the kitchen door then slips out to get a soda from the bar. She smiles a bit at Sookie.]

Crazy sorta day, ain't it?

[ actually, she wishes to assimilate it, to understand it. to make its technology her own. and remarkably, that's not strictly a borg desire, that's an order. assimilation is the most efficient means of comprehension and the captain has ordered her to use her ability to still do just that if the opportunity presents itself. at the moment, though, she is simply observing and gathering tricorder readings to be further analyzed later. ]

I fail to see how a death by fire would be categorized as "unholy." [ religion. she doesn't get it. ~~unless it's the borg fascination with the omega molecule~~ ]

She told Rogue that she was fine, that the discomfort was only momentary during the brief kiss they were forced to share, but that was far from the truth. Once the other girl she shared a face with had departed, Sookie moved - with great difficulty, as she was determined to hold herself upright and appear right as rain - past the bar and into the back, down the hall until she reached Sam's office. She was sure he wouldn't mind her using it to take a few moments to gather herself, to deal with the fact that she felt as if the life had been drained right out of her.

Along with her light, her ability to hear what others couldn't. She knew that it would be gone for a while, had prior knowledge of just what her facetwin's powers entailed, but right now that loss didn't matter, as the how much everything hurt, how weak she felt, was too much to bear.

Grasping the arm of Sam's desk chair, she sank down into it, and leaned back, closed her eyes and wished for the destruction of every single last kissing bot in this fucking prison.

Eric is tending bar at the Blood Shack when he feels something weird in the bond between him and Sookie that he's never felt before. That alone is enough to make him put down the drink he's making and excuse himself, but when that oddness is followed up by exhaustion, weakness and pain, Eric takes off running. He's at the front door of Merlotte's moments after Sookie retreats to Sam's office and it doesn't take much following his nose and his ears to find Sookie in the back of the bar. He kneels down in front of her, one hand going to the curve of her neck, the other to her cheek.

"Sookie, what happened?"

His voice and the expression on his face are fraught with concern, worry and yes, even love. It's an expression that few people see, but has become common around Sookie.
